I am giving 3 stars simply because of the amenities. Otherwise, I would give it 1.5 or 2 stars. Although this place was beautiful and clean when I moved in, there hasn't been an on site full time manager for months and the common spaces have gotten rather dirty. The shower in the ladies' room is so dirty I won't even use it with slippahs on. And I just went online to find the "resident" manager's phone number because we have no hot water, and after a song and dance, he tried to blame it on the fact that the water had been shut off and it takes time for it to warm up, and told me to run it. I had already run it for 20 minutes. When I said it was back on at 4pm, over four hours ago and there has been plenty of time for the water to heat back up, he corrected me and said it was 4pm yesterday. So that means it's been over 24 hours. And the water was hot earlier. He said he would have someone look at my unit in the morning. When I asked him to please just take a look at the water heater, he said he doesn't live here, is ony part time and will look at it tomorrow. Not what I would call a "resident manager." So who do we contact if there is a...
Read moreOld, sheer wall repairs being done recently, very tight, cramped, hard to park parking garage, crappie little added on ac units in the windows of the rooms...and they say not to run below 70F and to turn off whenever you leave. Are you kidding me? Bedrooms and bathrooms also have weird old rotating window slits that do not seal even in "closed" position. There goes what little ac I had in this room. 20th floor up, hope this place doesn't crumble while I'm here. Sketch shopping cart in the hallway by the elevators, most likely homeless person left it or something. Interior of particular room I was in though was nice inside, looked modern and renovated, just an old ass building with after thought...
Read moreI think your experience completely depends on what floor you’re on. We used to live on the 14th floor and it was great. No issues. Later moved downstairs to the 9th floor and unfortunately for us, the 9th floor is absolutely infested with cockroaches. We have multiple roaches every single day. They’re in our dishwasher, our counter tops, our food, our bathroom, our ceiling, our bedroom. They’re in the common hallways. People put salt in front of their door in the hallways to try to keep the roaches from coming in. It’s an absolutely plague. We desperately want to leave this place as soon...
