Very disappointed. My family and I always come into this store when visiting Hot Springs. We are always treated with respect and kindness, but today we were completely baffled at how rude the cashier was. As soon as we stepped through the door, we were asked “What beef jerky do y’all want?”. I then told her “Oh, we’re going to look around first, we don’t know what we want yet”, with a smile. She then told my entire family and I that “y’all can’t just come in and graze on the samples and not buy anything.... y’all have to get something”. We answered that we had and that we come here often to buy jerky. She continued to talk to us so we just grabbed something small so we could leave. We had no time to look around and see what our options were or if we wanted to get something different this time because we felt very pressured. I did not catch her name. We bought three big bags of beef jerky You can try small samples while you are there deciding on what you want to buy. Which is amazing. We bought four different packages including even the Dill beef jerky which wasn’t too bad after I tried the sample.!! The lady running the shop that day was very pleasant and helpful answering my questions on everything that day.
