I went to get my nails done for the second time with Kim’s nails and spa and the first time going it wasn’t too bad, the staff wasn’t to commutative other than that my nails turned out great. HOWEVER the second experience was not the greatest the girl took a chunk of my skin off with the drill to point I was bleeding and she immediately put super glue on it which concerned me for sterile reasons. She went on as if it didn’t happened and it made the cut worse in the end. Yet that didn’t stop her from seeming to be in a rush she nicked my cuticles on multiple fingers (she was aware of it) where I was bleeding and it was burning the whole nail process. In the end the design didn’t end up looking like my inspo picture and I knew it was work she was capable of from the first set I got from her which where good. I am disappointed in paying $100 for the nails with no atleast $5 discount for cutting me or an apology. I’ve seen a few other people say she seemed to be in a rush. (I called prior and was told a time to show up) If you are going to rush on my nails and not do them to your complete ability I’d rather be told that you are booked and go...

I am visiting Hot Springs for just 3 days and really wanted my nails done! Based on previous reviews I chose Kim Nail Spa and I am so glad that I did. I made an appointment by text, though it does say she accepts walk ins. When my plans for the day were finished earlier than expected, I reached out again by text to see if I could come any earlier than my previously scheduled time. She said it was no problem and I was able to come in at an earlier time she designated after texting!
I got a full set, one color. I had never gotten a set by dip powder before and I have to say, I don't think I will ever go back to acrylics any other way!
She cut and shaped the nails exactly how I wanted and took care in all of the steps. She finished so quickly, it was the fastest I have ever been in and out with a brand new set I think, and they look great and I feel great! (One thing I really hate about acrylics is when they are soooo thick- but my nails today are not thick at all and yet feel so strong.)
Thank you so much Kim Nail Spa! If I ever return to Hot Springs someday in the future, I will love...
Read moreMy sisters and I went in to get our nails done for one of our birthdays. They were nice enough to see us without an appointment, but I felt like they rushed because of that. We were not in any hurry and could have waited but they rushed us along. During the pedicure, the technician nicked my skin below the cuticle and it bled a lot, but she put my food back in the water bowl. Then when she put on the polish, the blood got on the brush, which concerned me sanitation-wise. A different technician did my manicure and when she trimmed my cuticles, four of them bled. Not as bad as my toe, where the skin above the nail was gouged, but I think she was too severe in pushing back and trimming the cuticles. I'm giving them 3 stars because the three other people with me didn't deal with any bleeding, but I don't plan on returning to this...
