The Beauty & Facial Salon at the Arlington — Local services in Hot Springs

I used to love this place. However our 5 year anniversary trip was a bust. We got the romance package with spa. Nothing romantic about that. We were separated the entire time at the spa, I understand for bath but I asked if we would be reunited for the message and was told we would be and were not. I had left overs from dinner I was going to heat up for lunch the next day. I asked for a microwave, was told there are none available because of electrical issues, yet they have enough electricity for Starbucks, but not a single microwave for paying customers to use. The only good thing about the stay was breakfast, but if you don't get it with your package it's $33...

Worst mani/pedi I've ever had. My hands and feet were cut and scratched, bleeding in some places. Had to pay $50 upcharge to remove polish, but tech didn't know how to do and grumbled about it. She was cutting my quick, filing the skin around the nails. They look like I need a fill right away. It was a mess and very, very disappointing. I get manicures and pedicures regularly and I knew right away this was wrong. I mentioned that I'm diabetic, hoping she'd be more careful but she didn't take the hint. Friday she gave us a manicure and pedicure that was great! She is such a sweet lady that takes pride in her job! On Saturday we went back and she gave both of us a "Signature Facial" Oh my word!! she had my husband snoring it was so relaxing..She done a great job on our facial that 2 days later it is still smooth!! We for sure will be going back to see her the next time we are in...
