Kilwins Ice Cream - Chocolate - Fudge — Restaurant in Hot Springs

Mr. Scrooge works here. The bad customer service reviews are true unfortunately. A very petty, scrooge of a man works here. Would only give my daughter one sample. Lol okayyyy, 👍 no biggie.....

Then my father received a double scoop cup with mint pistachio and coconut icecream. The coconut icecream wasn't icecream, it had large nut balls that were rock solid and very hard for him to eat. So my dad had me take it back. The two women understood and were very accommodating. They told me that can happen in the coconut icecream and asked what he would like instead. Honestly I would have left a 5 star review at this point. They were very sweet.

Then scrooge tells me to throw away the original icecream and says my dad can only have vanilla and that's it. He says this multiple times, only vanilla. I was like um, no he will have the 2 berry and the mint pistachio. He refused and said he can only have the 2 berry. All the while talking down to me. If we had been given actual icecream the first time there wouldn't have been an issue. The scrooge claimed he gave us free icecream after he told me to throw it away. 🥴 We will never visit a Kilwin's again. The icecream isn't worth the treatment. Go...

Delicious!!! But those sweet little treats add up quickly in cost!

We bought about 10 pieces of candy and about $8.50 per pound and a caramel apple ($7.95) and ended up spending about $25.

The apple was huge and the chocolates are delicious. But it was certainly an expensive snack lol, but who doesn't splurge a little bit on vacation right? there were so many awesome looking candies. I probably would've spent $100 getting a little bit of everything I wanted so I stopped with a small sampling.

The buckeyes look great, but they are $2.49 each and I just couldn't bring myself to pay that for a little ball of peanut butter dipped in chocolate.

They had a variety of HUGE caramel apples: plain caramel, w peanuts, w/ pecans, and turtle style with pecans and chocolate drizzle. The apple was excellent, but I did learn. I prefer peanuts on my caramel apples instead of pecans, even though I generally love pecans in any way form or fashion.

They also have a variety of popcorn and of course, ice cream :-). This is a fun shop with lots of sweet treats and goodies, but it's easy to spend a lot of money for a...

will NEVER be customers here and DO NOT RECOMMEND due to TERRIBLE customer service - Visited today for the first time and was so excited to try their ice cream. After waiting in line for at least 10 minutes, we got to the counter and my husband asked the older man for a sample of one of the flavors, the man huffed and said “sure but only one” in an extremely rude tone. My husband liked it and i asked to try a flavor as well and the man reluctantly gave it to me. When my husband ordered a milkshake (which is on their menu), the older lady turned around and said (very rudely) “I’m not making anymore shakes, we’re done making shakes today. You can have it in a cone.” My husband and I were stunned, and he said he just wanted a shake, the lady then said “shakes take 3x as long and I just don’t have time for that right now, if you you want a shake you can go to McDonalds.” We loved their ice cream, but after being treated this way, we will NEVER be customers here. You don’t gain business by being extremely rude, you just lose it like they did...
