I went on the wait list and they collected my $900 deposit before I was able to view the unit, as there wasn’t anything available to view. After paying the deposit, they quickly provided the deposit agreement (one page in the lease paperwork), withholding the rest of the lease agreement, information, and their rules. I signed the deposit agreement, trusting that they were luxury units as advertised.
When my unit became available, I requested to view the unit. As soon as I walked into the leasing office, she immediately asked for my signed lease agreement. Before providing the signed lease agreement, I requested to view the unit. She allowed me to do so, but stated that she wasn’t able to come with me. After a short time, the agent came into the unit stating that she needed to take her lunch break. This was the last day I was able to sign the lease agreement per the agreement.
The unit was very nasty inside. It did not appear to be professionally cleaned and it appeared that the person(s) that had the unit prior didn’t take care of it. The carpet that they replaced was VERY cheap and prickly. The unit had a water leak, which I brought to the apartment agents attention and she acted like it wasn’t there before, almost like I had put it there! I didn’t agree to the terms of the lease agreement stating that the unit was in satisfactory condition.
I requested another unit, and they told me that I would have to pay another $900 deposit. I requested my deposit back and they withheld the return of my deposit saying that those things could have been fixed, which it possibly could have been, but it still would not have made this unit luxurious. Things that I noticed in this unit:
Cob webs on all light fixtures. Thick lint in light sockets (fire hazard). SUPER rusted out coils on stove. Door jammed to laundry room. Paint job, it was very dreary in there. Base boards were gashed. Windows were unclean, murky, and dusty. Inside of dishwasher was rusted. Water leak under kitchen sink. Inside of kitchen cabinet shelves were extremely stained and filthy. Ice maker in freezer was unclean. Smeared appearance on stainless steal appliances.
They were not customer service friendly to fix any of these issues. I contacted corporate several times via phone, email, and certified mail but no one returned to me. I then filed a complaint with the Attorney General. Pictures were filed in the complaint. I welcome anyone to view them, as a complaint with the Attorney General is public information. Although admit-tingly, the pictures did not justly represent the condition of this unit. Arkansas laws do not protect renters but it is still important to file a complaint with the Attorney General.
When I first went on site to these apartments, the leasing agent didn’t offer to give me a tour of the complex. I told her I’d like to view the amenities, and I had to go back to ask for access after telling her I was walking the complex. There wasn’t anyone else in the office at the time. Additionally, there was confusing/misinformation given from the complex to setup electricity. If you do not connect to electricity in time, you pay the apartments. You do not know if the bill is honorable.
These apartments are advertised as luxury apartments. And at the time, these were the most expensive apartments in the area. I believe I was handled unjustly in this situation, which cost me $900, plus application fees, ect.
Apartment complexes are making it more difficult to know what you’re getting yourself into before having to pay large fees. Just because it’s beautiful on the outside, does not mean it’s beautiful on the inside. Please...
Read moreI have lived here for close to 10 years. I rent a three-bedroom apartment on the top floor, so I enjoy a spacious and living quarters. My neighbors are always friendly and quiet. The stairway is clean and free of debris, and all of my appliances work at all times.
The staff here is fantastic. Tracey is a gem. A perfect ten in my book. She is always so friendly and helpful each time I call her. The maintenance personnel is easy to work with and super friendly at all times. Pamela, the manager, is incredible. She always has a smile on her face. Her smile is very contagious, and you will leave with a smile on your face after talking with her.
This community is gated and has rules. Rules that we all agree to before renting here. These rules are in place for legal reasons, etc. If we disagreed with the rules, then we wouldn't live here.
I'd like to rebuttal some of the poorly written reviews. I have never seen a roach at any time anywhere on these premises. The exterminator visits every three months, and the air conditioning filters get replaced at the same time. If you are home, the staff asks you if everything is working as expected. If something needs fixing, their team creates a work order, and you receive a copy of the work order via email by the end of the day.
In closing, I happily live here, and when I am here, I am...
Read morePut deposit down on a unit, they rented it to someone else and made us wait 2 more weeks while holding our money. Totally unprofessional staff went snooping in the apt under the guise of fixing a light on the other side of the apartment. Mail that was delivered to the office "disappeared" until postal investigation was started, then suddenly, it was "found"
Not enough parking spaces for the tenants, garages aren't big enough for a truck and they want to tell you what you can put in them. Not a quiet place, either. Noisy, paper thin walls.
was renting a corporate unit that is supposed to include everything. what we got was cheap furniture, walmart's cheapest towels, purple couches, and not one sharp knife in the kitchen! Definitely not what we are used to expecting in corporate units. Also they never turned on, or brought us the cable boxes for the tvs (which were little 20" models placed on tables below eye level!) Internet didnt work at all most of the time, so use of personal data plans went up.
Truly an awful experience that I wouldn't wish...
