Pros - good selection, clean store, fair pricing

Unfortunately, the pros are outweighed significantly by the older lady running the place. We have been in twice, and both times that lady has been aggravating to deal with. The second you walk in she is asking you to sanitize your hands, which in this day and age isn’t an unreasonable request, and I imagine she is worried about Covid. Still, it is a little annoying. The annoying part is that she watches you like a hawk the entire time you are in the store, and she will tell you and your kids not to touch the merchandise. Two times yesterday she told my kids, who we have raised to be well behaved and respectful, not to touch. If they were running around trashing the place, I could understand, but all they were doing was picking up items to look at them a little more closely. First, little kids are your target demographic if you are in the candy business. Secondly, asking kids not to touch in a store filled with brightly colored sweets whose entire setup is designed to catch the eye is a little unrealistic. My mom and I have been in there a couple of times and we definitely won’t be back. The older lady running the place is extremely rude and watches you like a hawk. Once you walk in there she starts demanding you put hand sanitizer on (my mom and I are allergic to) then she told us we could put on latex gloves (my mom is also allergic), she then tells us she can get our candy for us. I bought a small bag of candy and I left the store, accidently leaving it there. When I realized I left it there they had already put it up and essentially gasslighted me into believing I took it. I am a teenager and was with my friends so I know she thought she could make herself the victim. It was Ava, Malachi, and an elderly woman.
