Iām writing as a 6 year long tenant at Alta West Gray now named 299 W Gray. This has been the place my husband and I moved in together at and that we are now leaving as weāve purchased our first home.
Stephon, our manager of 2 years is absolutely brilliant. Not only has he been very accommodating to needs wishes and concerns - heās been very kind thoughtful and worked incredibly hard (for sure at most times understaffed) with atleast 60 hour work weeks making sure that us the residents have gotten our needs met and felt at peace in our home. Most recently I accidentally threw out my $4000 worth of Ozempic and Stephon literally went out of his way for us to get my meds back via the garbage chute at 9:30 PM. Completely unheard of for a residential manager if you ask me.
During our six years in this building, weāve been very happy. The location - 10 min walk from our beloved gayborhood - easy access to freeways for work, the fantastic maintenance team - the incredible amenities including the pool that I use 4 times a week the event room which Iāve hosted atleast 10 fabulous parties at, the well-functioning mail and package room and constant direct email communication on problems occurring to no ones fault. For example, I donāt think the elevators installed had the right type of set up and they have been problematic at times. However, because itās a small community, in the event there has been one elevator, it actually works quite fine for all of us.
This apartment complex has always been highly competitive with other residential buildings in the area. Plenty of our friends in other buildings have had complaints that weāve never had to think about.
If having guests please be careful using street parking and donāt leave any belongings in the vehicle as this is a neighborhood bordering into midtown with a higher...

Emerson did an awesome job fixing the slow water in our sinks and shower. He was super organized and knew exactly what to do, turning our dribbles into a proper flow. He's really helpful and made sure we knew what was going on the whole time, which was pretty cool. He also took care of the stiff balcony door lever, making it smooth to use. We're super happy with how...
Read moreWhere do I start⦠Keavie is the nastiest most unprofessional leasing agent I have ever come across. Londyn (property manager) has two little agressive dogs that attacked me. I reported this and no one has followed up with me. I left work early today to come down and speak to someone. I arrived at 5:40pm. Keavie was sitting in her office talking and laughing with a resident. I sat there 15 minutes and she never asked if I needed assistance so I walked into her office to inform her that I was attcked by the property managers dog. She nonchalantly told me that she did not have the number for her corporate office. Feeling hopeless I had no choice but to call the police. Keavie was still talking to the same resident about her horse in Mississippi. I walked into her office again to ask for Londyns information for the officer. She stood up got in my face called me rude and told me to step putside of her door and wait. I continued to do wait but at 6:00 Keavie and the resident left together. She never addressed me or the very serious matter at hand. The property has so much potential but READ the reviews that mention keavie. Multiple reviews from about how nasty her attitude it. You would think a resident who was attacked by the property managers dog would be a priority situation. Instead keavie had me wait 30 minutes for her while she talked to this resident about hats and horses and left WITH the resident without ever saying anything to me. Even the officer stated that she was rude. New staff is definitely...
