On a weekend, during our walk around the Downtown Houston, we saw the JPMorgan Chase tower which is one of the skyscrapers of Downtown Houston. The building was formerly known as Texas Commerce Tower.
The 75 storied 1002 ft building is very famous being: the tallest building in Texas and the South Central region of the United States, the tallest five-sided building in the world, the 29th-tallest building in the United States, and the 107th-tallest building in the world.
The building's front lawn has a multi-colored sculpture entitled "Personage with Birds", which was designed by painter and sculptor Joan Miró.

Read moreObservation Deck still closed as of August 31, 2018. And there's no words on re-opening to the public. We went right before they permanently closed to the public in 2016. It was free and provided amazing view of Houston. Sadly for whatever reasons they closed it for good. I understand the public uses the same elevators as the tenants, but when we were there, there weren't many people on the deck or waiting for the elevators.
