Went in today and there was a man with glasses and an earring there who greeted me and asked if I was looking for anything. I told him the particular loose crystal and his response was “we have a stone but it’s pretty expensive”. This is obviously odd for a seller to say to a potential customer, especially when you only know what type of crystal I’m looking for and NOTHING ELSE.

So I said ok and he led me over to it in the back, he picks it up and looks at the price and says “we have this one, but yeah, it’s very pricey” (didn’t tell me the price). I said “well, you didn’t even tell me what the price is”. He’s says $250 and added some more unnecessary commentary about the price (I don’t recall the exact words but it was so negative and presumptuous that I’d heard enough).

At this point I was done and said “your attitude alone makes me not want to purchase anything from here. Have a nice day.” and turned to leave. He exclaimed from the back of the store “WHAT DID YOU SAY?!” I repeated what I said and walked closer to the door. He then calls out “WHY?!” I said “you led with expense as a deterrent and then continued to emphasize the cost without bothering to ask my budget or letting me make the decision. Not an effective sales tactic!”

He starts getting defensive and denying my experience and it seems like it’s about to be a pointless back and forth debate, so I say “you asked for the feedback and I gave it. Now please have A. Nice. Day. “ and leave.

0/10 do not recommend shopping here if this guy is here. He didn’t want the feedback to be constructive, he just wanted to argue. I won’t be back to and will tell my folks to shop...
