This store is conveniently located in a small shopping strip by a delicious bakery. I am often in this area as I frequent the UPS store a few doors down. Today I decided to check this place out since I had some extra time. Iris Gifts is very much a boutique store. I was immediately greeted with a smile. I told the store associate I was just looking and we left it at that. I love not being bothered, so I am completely fine after the initial greeting/offer of help until I ask for help later. They have all the cute and festive items for the seasons, adorable clothes for children, fun jewelry, amazing candles and more! I enjoy browsing stores like this when I have some free time to get ideas for later when birthdays and/or special occasions arise. In this area of town, you will find several boutique shops, but this one is very convenient and there is plenty of parking available. Some of my favorite items are the El Arroyo collection, the fun cocktail napkins and the decorative styrofoam cups. On the higher end, they sell beautiful, lovely smelling candles (one brand in particular is $115.00 - I don't know anything about the brand, so I can't give feedback on the price - maybe it lights itself - Lol), pretty costume jewelry, home decor pieces and alluring bath items that function as both decorative and useful. I was surprised to see the reviews are not higher for this shop. It's cute, it's friendly and it is full! Whatās...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve browsed and purchased things from this shop multiple times since it has cute knick knacks and gifts. Unfortunately, Iāve noticed that if your complexion isnāt white or white passing, you probably wonāt get a greeting or spoken to in the store. This has happened to me multiple times where myself and my other non-white complexion friends enter the store and arenāt spoken to the entire time we browse, but white customers walk in and are immediately greeted and tended to. Very strange behavior. Happened again today, I browsed for about 15 minutes with not a word said in my direction, but two non-black/non-hispanic looking individuals walked in and were tended to immediately. Staff of this place also isnāt varied in race from what Iāve seenā¦. Sad, but not surprising. After today I wont be going back again and donāt recommend you shop here unless youāre white. Trudyās Hallmark Shop has better prices and better gifts anyways, and treats every customer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have been waiting for this store to open for about two months now! Their Grand Opening is March 7th but I drove by and saw people shopping so I had to go in!!!
After I was greeted with such warmth and enthusiasm (love it), I did a quick walk around and got to meet one of the team members, Sarah! I was looking for a specific headband in blue and even though they didnāt have it Sarah showed me where I could order it! You donāt find that too often so I was impressed.
I ended up spending about 45 minutes in the store! I bought some Easter basket gifts for my 10 year old daughter and while they had Easter themed items, they also have some really creative gifts for infants, kids, men, and all kinds of items for women!
They also have a large collection of Consuela and I bought a notebook cover. They have all kinds of patterns! I love this place and will definitely be back with friends and family!! Thank you for being so welcoming! I wish...
