The night shift ICU at this hospital has proven to be the most distressing and unsafe environment imaginable. I urge every parent: under no circumstances should you leave your child alone in this unit. Conduct thorough research, ask questions, and remain vigilantābecause some of the nursesā repeated and serious errors can directly endanger your childās life.
The moment a parent raises even the slightest concern, the response is not care, empathy, or investigationābut immediate intimidation. Security is called not for safety, but to silence families, to discourage any interference, and to create an environment where staff can act without accountability.
This culture of fear is deliberately cultivatedāso that if a serious incident occurs, families are too intimidated to speak out. It is not just unprofessionalāit is inhumane.
My personal experience has been one of fear, distress, and emotional trauma, with no peace, no assurance of safetyāonly constant anxiety. Instead of allowing parental involvement, they would rather remove you entirely from the premises, leaving your child emotionally abandoned, even when that child has no one else but their parent.
This is not isolated misconductāit is systemic. There is no trace of humanity in this ICU teamās conduct. Staff protect one anotherās mistakes through silence and coordinated denial, forming a barrier against accountability and patient advocacy.
When they forcibly separated me from my son, he was clinically stable. In the 25 hours since that decision, his condition has worsened. That is a direct consequence of this unjust and inhumane separation.
This is not just a moral failureāit is a violation of basic human rights and a clear breach of patient rights. It is cruelty, plain and undeniable.
How can individuals who treat a concerned parentāasking only for transparency, safety, and basic decencyāin such a degrading and punitive way, still call themselves caregivers, or even human?
This is a crime. And it must not...

Our of our stay Iāve only had 4 good nurses
Nurses Change almost everyday so no one can really say if baby improved or not only based on test and X-rays. But physical and sedation weaning wise no one can ever have a clear answer unless mom speaks up.
If you plan to have your child here make sure you stay with them the whole stay here and make sure your baby/kids get the best care, I cannot imagine how he would be watched if I wasnāt here.
Weekend is like a ghost town for nurses to check on patient, baby has been sitting in Poopy diaper for the past two hours cause my nurse is busy somewhere else. I informed someone and I have to wait for my nurse to get done.
The nurses hospitality towards family and patient is horrible, youāll only get a few good nurses so make sure to speak up to the charge nurse.
Nurses stay on their phones, or disappear for most of their shifts.
My baby was waking up from a nap and I was trying to calm him down and the cleaning lady came to change trash cans and my baby was asleep already and she told me if heās asleep I donāt need to stand there that in need to go sit...

Due to the desk on floor 9 being closed, I was directed to get a wristband issued downstairs. The machine was broken and they were not able to issue a wristband. My infant granddaughter is at the end of her life and because of broken equipment, lack of compassion and empathy from security; my son had to leave his dying daughter to come downstairs so that I could gain access to upstairs. There has to be a better solution. Parents should not have to leave their sick and dying children to allow family access. To security officer Allen, thank you for the lack of compassion and empathy you showed at such a...
