My wife and I are from Philadelphia where falafel is plentiful and always delicious. You can walk outside and see 10 falafel carts within a few blocks span. Moving to Houston has definitely made getting falafel a little more difficult. There’s way less options and most places just don’t cook it right. I’ve found most places falafel is greasy and not crispy. We drove by Halal guys one day and got excited because there’s 3 halal guys restaurants in Philly! We ended up eating it two days in a row. Day 1. We ordered a large order for 4 people. Falafel platters and sandwiches with hummus and rice on the side. Lots of sauces. They forgot a few things on the order so I had to go back for it. The food was a little different than a halal guys in philly. It was more like a falafel taco than the stuffed pita that I’ve grown up with. They also didn’t have the bbq sauce they have in philly. It was definitely still good, but if I based the review off that experience alone I would of gave it 3 stars. Day 2. Decided to go again and this time I wanted to try something that sounded closer to Texas. Falafel burrito. These were excellent. Really good. Got it with jalapeños and lots of hot sauce and white sauce. Drink selection isn’t anything to write home about. They have topo Chico so I grabbed a couple flavors. Overall it’s definitely the best falafel place in Houston we’ve had so far, and it was nice to see a familiar spot (even if it was a little different)

I’m always leery of trying an offshoot of the original Halal Guys from NYC, but I’m really glad I did here! The quality and taste is identical to the famous street carts I’ve ordered from in New York. I got the regular gyro platter which came with lettuce, tomatoes, pita, a bed of savory rice, and a heaping amount of their gyro meat (beef). To make it even better, they lathered it with their creamy white sauce and their spicy red sauce. I also topped it off with complimentary peppers and onions. This was amazing. The lettuce and tomato are just standard cold veggies, but the rice was incredible. It was super savory and had a nice oily coating that made it soft. The meat was also fantastic. It was super juicy and tender, and the amount given was appropriate for the price. Make sure you get extra white sauce because that is what you’ll love the most. It’s the perfect condiment topping to make anything 10x better. Staff were friendly and very quick in making orders. I’ll definitely come back here again when I’m in the Houston area.

Overall solid option for lunch. I got the regular sized combo rice platter. Good portion size, glad that they have a small and regular size for those who prefer a bit less than the regular size (which is pretty big actually!). The prices are solid at $10 for regular size. Service was fast and nice. The inclusion of pita is great for more variety in the meal. The pita was ok - they reheat it for you in the grill but I think it was already a bit too stale and wasn't heated long enough so tasted a little dry but mostly soft. White sauce was tasty! Red sauce was hella spicy but also flavorful. Quality of the lettuce was mediocre, tomato was solid quality. The yellow basmati rice was nice and soft but lacking in flavor especially compared to other local gyro shops like gyro king and gyro hut. Chicken was flavorful and juicy. Gyro was also tasty and juicy, more traditionally thinly sliced compared to some other local places.

Greetings. I am a resident of Providence Rhode Island who is visiting my family in Houston. Since I saw on social media that your restaurant is opening soon in our city or Warwick, my mom, my brother and myself decided that we wanted to tried it. So we visited your restaurant located at 6609 Main Street, Houston. Sara O. Who was helping us with our orders was very rude. We asked her to be patient since that was the first time for me and I needed a few minutes to decide. When I saw that she was obviously annoyed I decided that my mom and I will just get the same thing my brother got. Then we just asked her to give us one sachet of hot sauce and one stride on the platter. She said we must pay extra for that. She said that was the policy. I could not believe her attitude and lack of customer service. I am sharing this because I just can't understand why a "manager" would have such lack of professional. I hope this feedback serves as an opportunity to train that lady. The other staff member was courteous with my brother. We will never forget how she made us feel and our fist experience at your restaurant. Hopefully you guys will do good in Warwick...
