If you have an interest in becoming a yoga teacher, search no further. I came to this class only wanted to learn more about yoga, but I’ve been inspired by Lex and Farida to teach in the near future. Enjoyed every minute of class and came home everyday with a heart full of love and aspirations. Best decision I’ve made this year was taking a week off from my corporate job to show up here. The earlier you get this training the longer your life will benefit from it. Once you’re a student, you can come back to it anytime for free. We had a few past students joined us during our training.

Lex is one of the few first-gen yoga teachers in America who contributed tremendously to the practice, and is super passionate about passing on the knowledge to younger teachers. This is probably the best yoga teaching course - or yoga course - available, but he only charges a fraction of cost to the bunch of chained studios’ trainings out there. I took Lex’s Yoga instructor class and am very happy I did. The class was small and intimate. The group was mixed with a variety of ages, ethnicities and experience levels. Lex is full of great knowledge and experience that he willingly shares in his trainings. He is clever and witty and daily class was full of useful information. His assistant instructor, Farida demonstrated beautiful, properly aligned poses that made it easier to visualize and articulate to my students how the pose should feel. She brought her experiences and I hope to be able to take her class at Discovery Green in the future. Overall this YTT was one of the best yoga trainings I have been through. My husband and I both just completed the yoga training course with Lex and Farida, and truly, our lives will never be the same. We look forward to opening our own yoga studio in Conroe, Texas in the near future and feel prepared to do so, supported by the community, and armed with excellent education. We believe the training we received was invaluable, and as a plus, made long lasting connections that feel more like family than anything else.
