I Heart Boba — Restaurant in Houston

I went with my family today and from the start the place was disgusting and dirty, but that was not the worse part but the two afroamerican girls who were rude to me and my family, the cashier was talking like if she was on a hurry, we could barely understand what she said, we even told her the special requests for our orders which she ignored, and when I gave her my name at the end she rolled her eyes in disgust in front of me, I decided to ignore that for respect to her and the other people around me, but when they gave us our drinks, one of them was not correct and when we told them that the drink was wrong, one of them said “next time make sure you got your order right okay? When actually we did told the rude cashier earlier what our order was and all the special requests, on the other side the lady who prepared the drink again gave us a new drink with just water and no sugar, it was awful! But we decided to leave without complaining because we didn’t want to bother them anymore… it was a TERRIBLE service, do not recommend this place and from now on I’ll never go back again unless they replace those...

I wouldn’t say I’m picky with my boba drinks, but I’ve tried over 10 different boba places in Houston (and other cities of TX) and this place disappointed me. I was really craving a good Thai Tea. (My usually place is Teapresso Bar and they make some of the most authentic Thai Tea ever if you want something good to try.) My bf and I both ordered Thai Tea here at IHeartBoba. Mine had boba and his had rainbow jelly. I did not watch them make the drinks, but upon tasting them I knew automatically they were made from powder and not true Thai Tea. There is another review for this place regarding the Thai tea flavor and they stated, “It tasted like plastic.” Sadly I have to agree. It just tastes fake and sugary. To be completely honest, the only pro I have to say about this place is that the chewiness of the boba was good and not hard. This is the second worst boba place I’ve ever been to. Sure I only tried one drink, but every boba place I’ve ever been to that uses to powder to make their drinks usually makes them ALL the same way with powder/without the use of any...

Very rude cashier, she had a rude face and attitude from before I ordered a coconut cream tea. She said ‘’black or green tea.’’ I asked which was sweeter and she looked at me like I was dumb and didn’t say anything. I explained I was asking because I preferred sweeter drinks and she said ‘’it doesn’t matter’’ and I said ok either works and she stared at me with no response. Im not sure if she was in a bad mood from before I got there but I can’t give service to an employee that is so unnecessarily rude and disrespectful.
