RESOLUTION: Thanks to the awesome management for this restaurant I am now a very happy customer. The pizza was AMAZING, perfect crust, the cheese, sauce, and toppings were done to perfection. The issue of incorrect pricing has been fixed, the manager treated me with the utmost respect, and made sure I was taken care of when I went into the store. So a big thank you to management for turning this around to something where now I'm more than happy to recommend to others.
UPDATE: I was contacted by the owner in regards to this complaint and we are currently working on a resolution and pending the outcome (hopefully a good one) this score may change. What I can say is that Paulette is very kind, and certainly seeks to make sure her business is putting out good customer service, and she is taking these complaints of mine very seriously. That is a definite plus in my book as good customer service is something I do look for in any establishment whether I am the customer or not.
I look forward to sharing the outcome of this resolution.
Previous Review: Short version: I took my $40+ order to Sicily's because of false advertisement.
Long version: I completely wasted my time calling this place to try to order lunch. I called to order the double pepperoni and two soda special based on a coupon on the menu that listed the price at 12.99. I was told that the coupon was no longer good and that the price had since changed. I was prepared for that because I was also on the website looking at the same special that was priced at 13.99. I explained to the young lady that I was actually on the website and told her that I was looking at a price for 13.99. Her response was that the special was now 15.99. Again I explained to her that I was calling about the special shown on their website that listed the advertised price at 13.99 and that due to their official website displaying that price that was the price I wanted. Her response was "oh the manager's not here." A later callback to see if the manager had come in yet only to be told that all managers would not be in for the rest of the week and it was just the employees...
Read moreSaw this location featured on a local television station as a family run restaurant serving fresh foo. I ordered the Italian Combo sandwich. It took almost 20 minutes to make and was served completely cold on a small sub roll you could have purchased from Kroger. The sandwich had very little meat, very thick bread and a ton of mayo. I like mayo but it doesn’t make up for the poor quality of the other ingredients. Service was also terrible. I was waited on at the counter by a lady that looked very much like one of the sisters I saw on the tv segment that was supposed to be the owner but she didn’t seem to know the menu well. You could tell it was my first time in the place but she let me just stand there and stare at the menu board without offering any suggestions. When I complained about the sandwich being served cold she had to come from behind the counter and look at the menu board to tell me that the Italian Combo is indeed served cold (even though the menu board makes no mention of it being cold). She offered to toast the sandwich however if this was an option I would have expected it to be offered when I was ordering the darn thing. The atmosphere is stark. While they have tables, it is clear that this is primarily a take out restaurant as all the food is served in Disposable takeout containers. Overall a terrible experience. I will never go back. If you are in the mood for a sandwich, save yourself some money and go to Subway or better yet Jersey Mike’s. Better quality food, better service and honestly a...
Read moreI was just confronted by the driver because the order was incorrect and asked them to fix it.
After the first time I ordered I learned that you have to ask for extra sauce, extra cheese & bacon, so a $10.99 pizza turns into a $21.45 with delivery and I tip.
When placing the order "Extra sauce, extra cheese, sausage & bacon, so nuch cheese when I remove the slice want the cheese to stretch." The order was wrong, the pizza was dry and there was very little cheese. So I did what normal people do, I called and asked for a replacement and I would send the pizza back. Got another pizza with more cheese, but no bacon. Order was still wrong. Posted a picture, the driver said this was triple cheese. I think this is a normal cheese pizza.
The driver said "I deliver here and for the other store and you always complain." I told him that I wanted what I paid for. He responded by saying "I have to drive here and it's eight miles". I told him this was my last order. Dude you're a delivery driver, driving is your actual job.
It takes me 1 hour to make $22.00, so when I paid for this pizza, I handed over 1 hour of my life and don't believe it is unreasonable to ask a company to make the pizza I paid for. I will not be inconveniencing Daddy-O's anymore by asking them to make the...
