Very disappointed in our first visit at this location. My husband and I walked in, waiting to pay for the buffet. Waiting 7 minutes without being acknowledged, but the customer facing employees both looked at us lots of times, but continued helping other people instead. After 7 minutes of being ignored, I grab a plate and start getting food from the line. AT THAT POINT, the man acknowledges me and only says “YOU PAY BEFORE YOU EAT” well, that’s what we had been waiting for the entire 7 minutes and you didn’t say a word until you saw me grabbing food. No apology, but an excuse from the drive thru girl, “WE HAVE A LOT OF ORDERS” I actually do not care how many orders you have. Customer service doesn’t depend on if you have lots of orders or not. Also, don’t give me excuses on why you didn’t provide better service for your customers. NEW ONES AT THAT. The man behind the counter actually laughed and just walked away when we told him about his and the other girls crappy service. You’re just letting me know your customer service is situational. In the food industry, customer service should be exceptional no matter how busy or how bad your day is. You’re representing a company. DO BETTER. I grew up eating Hartz chicken and I typically frequent the Fondren N Main location or the MoCity location, that being said…this is a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT RECIPE these folks are using. It’s like a previous chicken spot was there and they kept their recipe. Doesn’t taste like Hartz whatsoever. You can tell by how dark the fries are as well as the chicken (it was not seasoning) it was cooked in old grease. In addition, the chicken was not even crispy!! I opened it in the parking lot and sampled it. The only thing valid was the dinner rolls. You drive up to drive thru and this business not only did not answer after 5 min of waiting, when I called the rude lady hung up in my face the first time and I thought maybe it was a mistake. I called back and told her I tried to drive thru and she rudely said why don’t you come in and stop calling! Wth as a client this is unacceptable! If your busy simply tell your customer one moment when waiting at the speaker. They defiantly don’t appreciate customers or respect them!
