Donut World — Restaurant in Houston

We visited around 10:30am on 12/10/22.

Customer Service There were a few other people but it didn't take long for us to get serviced. Employees don't talk much (i.e. they're not trying to start a conversation with you), which is why they can provide fast service. They are also pretty smart. I saw a "filled" donut and asked if it was filled with bavarian cream. He said it was not filled with anything but he could fill it for me. This is a smart way to make sure your donuts get sold since they're not pre-filled with something a customer might not want. Other places have pre-filled donuts, which I usually don't buy because they have fillings I don't like.

Food I got the last spicy boudin kolache, which was delicious!! I found only 1 piece of "fatty tissue". At other places I usually find several, which I pick out because I cannot stand eating them. My family got sausage kolaches and gobbled them down, so I know they were good. We all got donuts which were also good. I cannot eat heavy donuts that taste like they were soaked in oil. These were not like that.

Pricing I believe they are similarly priced as other donut shops.

Overall, we would recommend this donut shop to others. We would be willing to came back if we're ever on this...

Folks ! BEWARE ! I've lived in this area for 20 + years and have seen many different owners, yes this owner is new, Many horrible experiences the past few months. Friday I arrived with my wife to pick up an abundance amount of kolaches, donuts, drinks to provide for our workers that are repairing our home from the storm. Actually around $70 worth. I asked if we could a couple of donut holes for our granddaughter to try. Well, she said no their not free unless you have a coupon ?? HELLO miss we are spending $70 one shot and you can't give us 2-3 donut holes to try ? No No. This establishment is in our neighborhood and I'm sure many of us have been there some time or another. We are the ones who make any business in our community successful or not. This is not acceptable to be rude, disrespectful to the customers that pay their bills...

Just left Donut world , it was my first time here and I was greeted right away. Donut world has a lot of options and all the food they had on display looks delicious. I ordered a bacon croissant sandwich, sausage and biscuit, two ham and cheese kolaches and a donut.
