Scholzen Products — Local services in Hurricane

Not happy with this company. We first ordered our metal roofing through them, when it came in they tried to charge us $1500 more then what the receipt said. (Because the roofing guy made a mistake and didn’t do his job) They did eventually make it right but not until I refused several time to not pay or take the product and it was gonna leave them with product they couldn’t sell to anyone else. Then we tried to go through them again for some lodge poles. My husband called the night before to make sure they had them (we live 2 1/2 hrs away) because we didn’t want to travel for nothing. The fence guy assured us they had 60 and not to worry, we didn’t need to pay over the phone. Got there the next late morning and he had sold every one of them knowing we were on our way!!! This is getting old but too easy when your name is posted on your vehicle. As a true testament to your employees poor character today traveling on I-15 north around Leeds I had the pleasure of almost being rear ended by a white pickup truck. What a joke to have this clown carrying a load in the bed nearly rear end me just to cut off someone else doing a respectable speed. I really do not understand why it is necessary to drive like that and make the road unsafe for everyone but I can guarantee you this, I will never consider doing business with Scholzen products because of it. Your employee will end up costing your company serious money with that reckless driving. Just a matter of time before we see the Scholzen name tarnished with a destroyed vehicle on St George...

We were always impressed with doing business with Scholzen's in the 90's when I lived in Cedar City, then moved to SLC area. When we moved to St George 2 years ago we have purchased several thousand dollars, mostly steel, for some home improvement building projects, and again found them great to do business with, especially the free delivery; including a 60' x 6" steel ibeam. What super impressed me is when they not only let me return a 20' sheet of b-decking when totally my error for ordering one too many, and even picked it up!
