Torrid — Local services in Idaho Falls

My first experience with Torrid was having the store place an order for me while spending over $300 at the register. The sent my order the wrong State, told me I'd have to wait 5 business days before they would make this right but that they would refund $20 for the inconvenience and send my order to the correct address. When I called back, the first call was an hour and twenty minutes (mostly on hold) ... they disconnected the call while I was on hold and did not call back. I had to call them, then I was lied to and told they would not honor the refund to my bank account and now (all of the sudden) the order is no longer in stock... they would only refund the original order and had no concern for my inconvenience plus the prior promises made that they also refused to honor.

Then she put me on hold and hung up on me AGAIN. This time she called back ... then said she'd send me to ANOTHER supervisor who again did nothing and expressed NO CONCERN for my wasted time and inconvenience. They actually expected me to open an account with them so I could spend more of my time and money with this corporation that doesn't actually care about misleading their customer base and certainly doesn't work to correct their mistakes.

When I asked for their corporate office information both "Supervisors" said they couldn't give that out.... when I pressed for the info she googled it and because it was online she begrudgingly gave me the address.

At the end of this experience, more than 2 hours of my time today was wasted on being placed on hold, being transferred & being hung up on.

This is how they treat the customer. If negative stars were an option, believe me this review would reflect that. I think it's safe to say I will spend my hard earned cash on stores that actually take care of...

I love to go here and shop for my wife. My wife is not a victoria secret small in size but, she is still beautiful. This store is for regular sized women who have a hard time finding clothes their size. My wife and I shopped here for the first time and it was a great experience. Staff was super helpful and kind. We found beautiful and cute clothes that fit her. She didn't experience clothes shopping anxiety for the first time. The clothes there are affordable and if you buy a certain amount you get discounts as well. Everything in the store was made to fit a womans body in all shapes and sizes. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone that hates shopping for clothes because it hard to find the right size. Great...

Customer service has greatly suffered since the shut down. I was a customer prior to Covid. I would come into the store and found all employees ready and able and willing to help with suggestions, finding correct sizes, and ordering something that was not in stock. The manager (I don't remember her name) rocked at customer service. I have been back 3 times since they reopened. The new staff is more concerned that you have a mask and it is on exactally than helping find something. They were unable to navigate the Torrid web site to order my correct length in jeans.
