Mountain Exchange — Local services in Idaho Springs

We loved this place! We went in there not having a clue what to expect and we found good quality used (big name brands!), rugged clothing at fantastic prices. The items were clean and in excellent condition as well.

The fellow Josh, working behind the counter was amiable and we enjoyed our time there very much. There were 3 of us customers in the store when we got there and probably a dozen when we left! Others, like us, felt like we’d found a neat place to hang out and chat!

In the middle of the pandemic that was saying something! We were there on Nov 3, I think it was, on our way driving from Denver (where we lived for many years) back to L.A. Idaho Springs (we have been there many times in the past) is one of those quaint Colorado mountain towns that still maintains much of its unspoiled charm. Mountain Exchange fits right in...

Honestly, 5 stars isn't enough!! I went in, desperately looking for a Steve Atwater jersey, for an upcoming funeral service. I didn't see one on the rack, but I noticed there was a few jerseys hanging up in back & saw a gentleman working back there. I asked if he had one.. he went to the back & searched through his inventory. A few minutes later, he came out with the exact one I was looking for & was EXTREMELY generous with the price! I can't thank you enough...

When I saw this store I truly did not know exactly what to expect but when I walked in I saw many name brand outdoor gear for sale with great prices. The store has a variety of sizes and categories of clothing ie. women, men, and children. I sadly was unable to find a winter jacket that I loved but I ended up finding a nike workout top which was a surprisingly good deal and it is in perfect condition. So glad I visited...
