Claire's — Local services in Indianapolis

Rearranged my morning just to pickup an order for my daughter as a Christmas gift. The items I ordered weren't available to be shipped and the closest store that had availability for the items I wanted was the Castleton store. The Clay Terrace location is only 2 miles from my house. Castleton is about a 20 min drive for me. So I have until tomorrow, Thursday Dec 7th to pickup my curbside order. I showed up at today, Dec 6th at 10:51am and the doors are closed, lights off. Claire's is supposed to be open at 10am. After a few moments of confusion I walk across the hall and ask an employee of another shop if they knew anything. The worker proceeded to tell me the opener "is typically late but not this late. Just wait around and someone will be here." So I window shopped until 11:22am (30 minutes of window shopping I didn't need to do) and come back to lights off, doors closed.

Attempted to reach Claire's corporate several times since then and haven't received a response. When I called the store the gal could have cared less about my time being wasted. I haven't shopped at claire's since I was a kid but this might be the last time...

Having a young daughter, I love to shop at Claire’s!

My daughter, grandmother and I shopped this location today and had my daughter’s ears pierced. All of the staff was very professional, extremely friendly, and provided impeccable customer service even though they were very busy and had 8+ people waiting for piercings! (Including some not so nice customers) The girl who pierced my daughters ears was exceptionally great! She was so gentle, sanitary, respectful and just overall amazing! I’ve never had a bad experience at any Claire’s location but this one exceeds my expectations! The staff truly does go above and beyond to make a connection with customers! Im not a big fan of Castleton Square Mall itself and I live closer the Hamilton Town Center location but with the customer service I received today I will always go out of my way to shop this...

During July 4th weekend (I think it was Saturday), I went here to-the Claire's inside Castleton Square-to get my ears pierced. There was a very nice, very professional young lady working there alone. Apparently, she was expected to man the register & pierce ears simultaneously. While also working the floor? All I know is that it was busy & this young lady handled the entire situation with the grace and poise of an aged veteran & a natural leader. Somehow she managed to pierce the ears of the fidgety, wailing infant in line before me, rang up at least 2 or 3 sales, answered questions on the floor & did an awesome job piercing my ears all in a matter of minutes.
