Pura Vida — Local services in Irvine

I usually don't leave comments because I don't always seem to want to leave less than a 5 star review, but this store and the employees are wonderful. I went in to see about getting a gift for my girlfriend. This was on Friday, June 13th 2025 for reference. I was greeted immediately (which is not common for me to experience) and I know I looked lost. The staff member by the name of Shar helped me out for a minute, but then let me browse around. I was wondering about the metal used in a bracelet I thought was cool and something my girl would wear and another employee followed up with me. I forgot her name. She had dark curly hair and was super nice. They all were. Anyways, long story short, I had a very pleasant experience. Had any and all questions answered and felt like I was valued even though I didn't spend a whole lot. I like this store and the respect I was treated with. I think the bad reviews by other people with their negative experience here, probably meant that they're not the kindest people or just plain jerks. We had the worst service at the irvine spectrum puravida. Looked this up on yelp and couldn’t seem to find any locations, hmmm makes sense because their service is always trash. Me and my friends came here to get matching anklets and were treated with hostility. The women with dark brown hair and gold jewelry was targeting us. The moment we stepped into the store she kept on following us around and harassing us. She was very passive aggressive and was accusing us of trying to steal items and destroy merchandise. I purchased a charm bracelet and charms less than a month ago, have not worn the bracelet while swimming or while sweating/exercising, and both the gold bracelet and the gold charms are tarnishing and turning silver. Very low quality and disappointing! Unfortunately I was there on vacation when I made the purchase, so I can't just pop back into the store to get them replaced, and online support from their website was unable to help because it was an in-store purchase.
