Chocolate lovers must buy their products from this local Peruvian business. Not only does their chocolate bars retain the cocoa butter instead of icky soy, they know how to make their chocolate goodies smooth and beautiful. We met the owner who was so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed all the samples and of course we left with a bag of goodies. I believe we have a winner here for the next round of Christmas presents for everyone. Now that I'm spoiled with real chocolate from Hawaii and now from Peru, there's no need to buy at the local grocery store. They have a dark milk chocolate that will satisfy the picky eaters that won't try dark chocolate. It's sweet and not tart at all. We had the peanut and chocolate covered marshmellow confections and they were delicious. I don't prefer marshmellows, but theirs doesn't taste like overly sweet cheap ones. My favorites are the Mango Chili and the Quinoa Chia bars. I will probably get the Blueberry ones next. Make sure to go home with their hot cocoa mix at at least a couple bars. The price for a fabulous bar is so reasonable. We will be back to try the other confections. Thank you for bringing your craft here and supporting the farmers back in Peru.

Wonderful local chocolate shop. The three owners travel to Peru often to buy their own cocoa beans, have them fermented and processed in a local Peruvian co-op, ship them to Switzerland to be turned into bulk chocolate, then ship the chocolate to Issaquah where they make all their own chocolate bars, dipped fruit, nut clusters, and inclusions. They make about 40 different chocolate confections. The owners greet every customer personally, and share their story and their enthusiasm for what they are doing. Everyone gets a free cup of hot chocolate. You can sample any or all of their products for free. By the time you are done, you feel you want to give them your money and buy lots of chocolate, partly to support the good things they are doing and partly because the chocolates are delicious. I highly recommend you visit and support this local business, you will enjoy it!

If you're around Issaquah, you'll see signs that say free hot chocolate. If you follow them you'll be led to the amazing Forunato Chocolate store in an unassuming location near the teansit center. They've only been open for 11 weeks, but it looks like they've been quickly found as evident by the number of people visiting. As said they offer free hot chocolate made anyway you'd like (i.e. with whipped cream, marshmallows, or just hot chocolate and offer to anyone who just wants to stop by. You can clearly see chocolate being made in the back and their items on the shelves and counters. They're selection isn't vast, but everyone should be able to find something, and they do offer samples of everything on the counter. The owner was extremely friendly and greeted everyone with an offer of hot chocolate that walked in the door. They're worth the visit.

Pono e ho'āʻo! Brava! Des bouchées parfaites! رائع! Dejlig! Maukasta! Piacere puro! 비교할 수 없는 품질! Αξίζει τον κόπο!

I've had many luxury brands of chocolate in my lifetime. I honestly was so impressed by the smooth, fruity qualities of the cocoa nacional. I purchased dark chocolate mangos & s'mores.

I shared these with friends & family. All were delighted including my housemate who doesn't "care for chocolate." She cares for Fortunado!

I seriously want to try & review every single product they make. As a Google Maps guide in the top 1% of the country & top 6% of food & restaurant reviewers, I can tell all of my 33 million viewers on maps, I never give idle praise.

A company has to EARN my repeat business.

After all we could spend our money anywhere & your money will be well spent on these delightful treats!

I will be a lifetime consumer! Kathy L....
