I asked for my nails and my toenails to match and the attached design. I got regular polish on my toes and gel on my nails, no one told me they would be different shades due to this. The design did not come out good and the nails weren’t the same color so I put a negative review. The management and owners immediately reached out to me and asked if I would come back for a free nail color change. I asked specifically for someone I knew worked there who did my mother in laws nails (Lai) and asked specifically if I would be charged for a color change, they said no. When I arrived I said I wanted to just go with black and simple design of whatever they could do (since I paid for designs). Then they stated if I wanted to change the color it would be $50 more (totaling $190 now for my nails, I originally paid $140.) But they would redo the design for free. It wasn’t done by Lai as I requested, it is much better and the original tech came up and apologized a couple of times, which was very kind of him, so thank you. As much as I GREATLY appreciate what management attempted to rectify the situation and the tech apologizing, I still didn’t receive what I was promised to come back and it is a half an hour drive for me (2 hours total for the two trips). I don’t get my nails done often at all, this was a birthday/college graduation present to treat myself and twice I’ve left frustrated and about in tears as this is supposed to be a relaxing treat for myself that turned into a nightmare. Thank you to the owner/management for attempting to rectify the situation. The design is much better and more so what I wanted. But this has left an awful personal experience and I unfortunately won’t...
Read moreI have never in my life dealt with this level of inconsistency, ignorance and incompetence. I understand language barriers, but my natural long nails that had gel polish on them, was mistook for an acrylic set and my nails were drilled down to where my once strong natural nails were paper thin. Guy number 1 had my hands soaked in acetone for 15 minutes, but about 10 minutes in I asked the front desk lady what their procedure for removing gel polish was, she said you sit for 15 minutes and then they scrape it off. I was like OMG really?? I went back and soaked until ((My normal is wrapped and scrapped until the gel polish is removed.)) Guy number 2, sat and started drilling, and I kept pulling my hand away, and I asked him why he was drilling and he said, you want acrylic set, right!! Clearly when I signed in on 1/5/24 at 3:00 I wrote in my service as gel manicure, that was the FRONT DESKS OVERSIGHT AND TOTALLY THEIR FAULT!! NO where in my sign in did it say acrylic set!! Guy number 3 Sam, tried to fix my nails, they are just not empathetic enough for me!! I am angry and my nails look like trash. I had my 3 year old granddaughter with me and I kept my cool because she wanted her nails polished. Her service was $10. It will take me 3 months to get my nails back strong the way they were. And I tipped Sam $50 and my service was $68, but that was for them to know the type of customer they messed up on and...
Read moreI will not be returning. They separated me from my 6 year old girl. A male nail tech took her out of my sight behind where I was set for my pedicure and then refused to move to desk where I could see him working on her nails while getting my pedicure. I ended up making a scene and demanding to have my daughter in front of me where I could see her - this was after 5 minutes nearly of them not respecting my wishes. I should not of even had to request this. Our world is sick and a small child should not have been taken away and separated from her mother in the first place let alone this situation was not rectified until i yelled that I was taking my business elsewhere if she wasn't moved. Our nails were done decently but I will not be returning and I do not recommend giving them business. Very shady. I wish we didn't live in a sick world where child abductions happen in plain aight every day but we unfortunately do. J E nail spa needs to fire that...
