My husband purchased me a beautiful Diamond necklace for our anniversary several months prior. He surprised me with it on our special day! That weekend we were going out to dinner to celebrate and I put the necklace on to wear. Within 5-10 minutes the necklace kept flipping around to the underside. I’ve since visited the location and have received a follow up call saying I cannot return the necklace because it is past the 30 day return policy. When buying a gift ahead of time for someone wouldn’t you think my husband would have been told about the return policy? Maybe then he would have waited to buy it or given it to me ahead of time. I was offered a store credit but after looking around the store there was nothing else that spiked my interest. I was also told that many people have bought this necklace and it never flips on them that maybe it just needs broken in.. I’m heartbroken that this necklace will not work for me. It may just be the way it lays on my neck and my body type. I can’t explain why it flips but it does. So now I have an over 5,000.00 necklace that is going to sit in a jewelry box that I cannot wear and collect dust… shame on you!!! Be sure you give your special someone their gift immediately or you will be stuck with something that’s basically worthless. This should not be an issue to return !!! Completely and utterly disappointing. This WAS our favorite store…I happened to look at the BBB while writing this.. all I can say is WOW, do your research before heading to Helzberg! I’ll be adding to the list of complaints with the BBB. Also my husband bought me another necklace at the same time for a previous pendant I have. It is already being repaired after wearing it for 6 days. Again, very disappointing and unsatisfactory!! Read morei can’t stand coming here, but it’s the only heltzburg near me so I have no choice. I’ve had a bad experience from the beginning. My boyfriend bought a ring and necklace from them and he got the lifetime warranty and soon as I try on the necklace the chain is too short so we go back and try to use the warranty to get a different chain. “ oh no the warranty doesn’t cover the chain only the Diamond heart “ so we had to buy a new chain after buying a necklace and ring. Then a week goes by and the chain clip yanks all my baby hairs out and I went back to try and return it and nope I’m not allowed because it’s been worn. So now I have to wear my necklace chain where the clip is up by face so, it looks stupid. Now the ring, they didn’t carry my size so it had to be ordered and when I came to pick it up the manager just had a attitude with me, maybe because I didn’t dressy fancy like every person here. I don’t know. But everyone I come to get my jewelry cleaned by TIM K. And he Always says there is a loose diamond in my necklace or my ring , it’s always something. But no other person tells me that but him. I can’t stand him cleaning and touching my jewelry. If he needs any info from me while I’m in there he demands me to answer no asking. Read moreLet me start by saying that I am incredibly careful with my jewelry. I take them off when I workout, shower, sleep, clean, and swim. I could not be more disappointed in the quality of jewelry from Helzberg.
My fiancee purchased a ring in 2019 and only a month or so after, I had issues with the center stone being loose. We purchased the protection plan on it and luckily they fixed that and we (so far) haven't had another issue with the engagement ring.
Shortly after, we purchased my wedding bands there - in February 2020 to be exact. The quality of these have been unbelievably poor. Our wedding was delayed and due to the requirement to have these cleaned and inspected, we ended up having these rings serviced 3 different times before our actual wedding in October 2020. No less than 24 hours after wearing these bands for the first time ever, I was missing a stone. A second stone fell out exactly one month after wearing them.
Since purchasing, we have moved out of state and the nearest Helzberg is 3 hours away from us. We had all 3 rings (engagement ring and BOTH of the bands) serviced while we were home for the holidays.
It has been less than ONE WEEK since having these cleaned and inspected and I am missing yet another stone from these...
