Moroccan Hammam & Day SPA — Local services in Jacksonville Beach

Went in with my staff and it was very amazing experience. One thing I learned right away so well that the owner takes pride in everything that is so precise and meticulously planned. If anything that can make next client visit less will be less comfortable spots that means not a 100% perfect visit for next client may be some mechanical issue or some where where normal clients might not even notice but they will cancel rest of the appointments until the issue is resolved and I guarantee that you must reschedule but you will get nothing but genuinely best experience.

Even every minute while you are in there they have it planned based on clients needs. I visited this place they know exactly client will feel thirsty and water bottle comes in and I was blown away with each and every one I saw more than 12 staff and not a single person had nothing but smile and waiting to hear what I was going to ask, everyone was such a soft spoken and genuinely courteous.

When was the last time where you see someone who looks at you or talks and shows that. They not only smile but they care . Very well trained staff place works like well oiled machine. Seems like they all work very well together. Family room refreshments fresh fruits authentic tea while talking with your loved ones while you are there it’s totally personal personal personal time.

I am definitely coming back and I want to conclude while it’s still a draft review that this is a very high end Spa something organic genuine locally owned and not using chemicals like you see in traditional Spa resort set up spas.

Materials arrive gets shipped not from Amazon but authentic chosen specific geological sites from different parts of the world this is not made in china and for just further clarification if you happen to be a male or female thinks totally not at all happy ending mindset kind of Spa. , If you are successful genuine who really wants to coke in with someone you love you must come here.

In my short visit I noticed several things. So many things to list this will just go on. If you want something that’s good for your body this is the place. If you happen to be in Jacksonville or within 100 miles you must try this is one of a kind in whole Floroda. It is truly a hidden gem that you need to have in your bucket list. I will totally recommend any and every but someone of a class and stature this place is not for a street trash or junky mindset. You get what you pay for.

When you come in walk in with family or friend that you want to show them your appreciation and respect for your relationship come in with mom on Mother’s Day, Bring dad on Fathers day. This is this type of spa. If you can not afford the 3-4 hour packages then pick up one or two packages but definitely include Hammam. This is where the game changes. This is climax of the movie you feel rejuvenated. Lots of scrubs goes on deep cleaning your skin like someone giving you a really good shower washing all dead skins but scut Ei ally and organic and authentic way and opening all skin pores at least 80 buckets of hot water went all over on my body and I’m saying this oh boy, why I can not bring my loved ones here and show them how much I love them.

EDIT: In response to the business’ reply - I’m not unhappy with the fact that I did not receive treatment, it was the extremely rude woman that confronted me after. Poor service because of her unkind and unprofessional attitude. Please address that.

I did not receive the treatment so this is a review for the service. Upon arriving I was told that I could not have any of the treatments because I was pregnant. The website did not say to disclose that NOR does it say which treatments are not available for pregnant women. They also did not ask me when I called to make the appointment.

I dont mind that they couldnt do the services. Thats totally ok, it’s their policy, it might not be safe.

What was not ok was the extremely rude and unprofessional service that followed. I was told over and over that I should have disclosed it over the phone, “did you not see that we offer a prenatal massage?” She went on and on, making me feel worse. I was there to relax, I was disappointed that I couldnt have get any service done, and to top it off yes, Im pregnant. This really was no way to deal with the situation. So im sure their treatments are great, but the service was unprofessional and completely ruined my day for no good reason. She huffed and puffed while issuing my refund. The only person who dealt with the situation professionally was the lady at reception. I do not recommend...

I have to start with a shout out to massage therapist Hilda! Omg one of the best massages I’ve had! She is AMAZING!!

Got the luxury detox which included a body scrub, wrap, steam room session, tea service and massage. Overall amazing experience with a few minor suggestions for improvements. The steam room session is a full 30 minutes (which is more of an endurance challenge than fully relaxing but you definitely feel that you sweat out all the toxins in your body!) but the bench you sit on is TINY would definitely be easier to enjoy in a more comfortable bench or chair.

Next the scrub and wrap area is on a tile slab with a thin yoga mat that you lay flat on your back for a good 45mins without any back support. A small pillow under the legs or a slanted pillow under your head would help a ton to avoid lower back pain during this service. Also when they have you turn over on your stomach there isn’t a typical massage table head rest so you end up with your face in a puddle which was pretty uncomfortable.

Overall I left feeling refreshed and relaxed. Would come again for a massage just maybe not...
