Firehouse Subs never disappoint me. They're delicious, always.

And I rarely write reviews, but today I HAD to. I had the BEST experience simply picking up my sub all because of the man behind the counter...I believe his name is Chris R. I placed an order over the phone for pick-up and when I got there (early) the sub was ready to go. Chris looked at me, made eye contact and asked me how my day was going, in the most genuine way. I guess I am used to having little interaction and just being cashed out quickly But Chris was just so nice, polite and still quick with my order. His positive attitude made me smile! When I was leaving he said "Have a great day, Ashley" which to me is huge. He called me by name. I just loved it, it was personal and nice and I left thinking "That guy is awesome and this Firehouse is awesome." I just had to say something. Chris R, keep being you because you were a complete pleasure to talk to today. You made me whole day great and we met for less than 5 minutes. The managers of that Firehouse are lucky to have you, it gives that store the extra spark it needs for me to want to go back to that location...

The staff and managers go way above and beyond for their customers. This is no ordinary sub place. The food is delicious, the customer service is perfection and the atmosphere is perfect. Today, we came in for our family lunch (like we do so many days at this location) and today they were out of my favorite Poweraid, something I depend on to start my day and keep my head clear. Ernest Howard (General Manager) got in his car and went down the street to get my my drink. I was shocked. I was so impressed that they went that extra mile(s), literally just to make my day. This is the kind of company and location you should visit everyday. I am so thankful and touched by their sweet & professional acts. I visited the Firehouse subs in Jacksonville Beach on Beach boulevard just a few minutes ago at 11. Russell is the cashier today and his crew the whole crew that was there are excellent they are working well together, and the food is being put out hot and fantastic. I tried the new smokehouse triple stack, and oh my goodness it is a great great sandwich. It is a meaty sandwich. If anyone out there wants a feeling needy sandwich, get the triple smokehouse triple stack. Thank you for your house once again; for coming up with such a great way to feed the people.
