Jax Beach Kava Bar — Restaurant in Jacksonville Beach

Jax Beach Kava sells high quality products. Their servers are all kind, personable human beings. The Kava Bar is a place where almost anything goes. We are not under the influence of alcohol, and so it stays clear in terms of people retaining their faculties and bodily functioning, which is amazing!

Anyhoo, my personal experience with the products and the atmosphere are that I can be myself totally. Whether I am in an outgoing mood and flying on the waves of society, dancing and chatting, or sitting on the couch journaling and clearing my mind, it’s a place where people can just BE themselves.

Unfortunately there are those who would belittle others whose beliefs are different from theirs. The kava tenders are the soul of the establishment. Their day in, day out toiling (because it’s hard work) need not be marred by worrying whether they are allowed to speak their mind, in a kind and honorable way, while working.

All of us have the right to express ourselves. That is the basis of this nation, is it not?

My hope is that we can all get along, whether it’s at the kava bar, the highway, or the beach. I personally know what it’s like to change myself in order to attempt to mollify others. There is enough of that in the world. There is no reason for us to be antagonistic; we can disagree to disagree and co-exist. Indeed, that is what makes life so rich.

Every time Charlie serves me, he is respectful and kind. He is attentive and on the ball throughout his entire shift, and I sincerely appreciate his work ethic.

I have no need to know what his inherent beliefs are, as it makes no difference to me in how he does his job. I find it unfortunate that who he is as a human being, and speaking his mind, has created an unnecessary rift where there is perceived discord.

Jax Beach Kava Bar has such a unique upbeat atmosphere and unmatched quality in kava and tea drinks. The friendliness of the kavatenders and owners creates a welcoming environment fostering connections with anyone around. They also have games for all ages and interests, including video games (Mario Party tournaments are my favorite), board games, card games, and question games to prompt meaningful conversations. The owners’ passion and knowledge shines through in their education about the various products they offer. Damon takes time to talk with each patron to hear what they are looking for and provide guidance on which would be the best option, as well as everyone making recommendations on delicious drinks. In my experience experience so far, daytime is a quieter chill vibe, nighttime is super fun to hang out, and any time is a great opportunity to get drinks and walk...

If you would like a raw, honest review please take 2min to read this. I've been here two times. The first time was great. They had live music, and I never had kava before, it was alright. The second time I got kicked out because my girlfriend and I were talking. Yes, talking. They were doing some documentary they could've done in someone's garage or in a park or something... about how kava helped alcoholics quit alcohol.... Anyway, it's just a terrible feeling to take someone out on a date and then get kicked out, especially after spending $80 on a couple of drinks. Absolutely ridiculous, and the owner just comes up to me and says "you guys will need to be quiet or you're going to have to leave." WHO GOES TO A BAR TO BE QUIET??? Anyway, if the prices weren't enough to keep me away, the atmosphere and the staff will....
