The Tan Cabana is a perfect place to get a spray tan--the owner, Anna, is very approachable and makes you feel comfortable in a situation that might not be the most comfortable (stripping down to a bathing suit, underwear, or in the nude for your tan). That, to me, is one of the most important things when I receive an airbrush spray tan--I've been to ones with the machines, and they were very cold, stark, and unpleasant.

With Anna, I know that I'm not only getting a tan that's been adjusted to exactly my needs and desired level of darkness, but that it will be even and I will like naturally bronzed--no oompa loompa orange, and no dark elbows, weird streaks or off-putting smell (all things I've experienced with self-tanner or the automated spray tan machines).

Her products are all-natural, which I love, and she is very knowledgeable about skin types, application processes, and how to ensure that her clients get the MOST out of their tans (no oily products beforehand, shaving the day before, no Dove products due to a residue, etc.). You DON'T get such personalized service from a machine, and you definitely don't get an all-natural bronze glow with zero skin damage from a tanning bed/outside. In my opinion, I'd much rather get an immediately gorgeous tan in fifteen minutes when I need a pick-me-up or for an event, instead of running the risk of wrinkles and skin cancer. NO thank you!

Anna's facility is beautiful, beachy and chic. I felt at home, if my home were decorated like Crate & Barrel. :) Anna even has a wine chiller and gives her clients complimentary drinks if asked. How awesome is that? She's also a great advertisement for her products--Anna is gorgeous and healthy, obviously taking great care of herself and skin, and she has that warm, approachable nature you crave in an aesthetician, ESPECIALLY one seeing you in your skivvies. I was visiting Jacksonville for a photo shoot and needed the best organic spray tan in town. My agent found The Tan Cabana which was the closest to my the location where we were staying. I am very picky and specific on where I go and who I go to. My agent knows me very well, so she told me to trust her on this place because she had a girlfriend who went and loved the place.
