This store is the geek mecca! I can't go in without leaving with something... Usually something'S'. If you're into comic books they have a wide variety and you can set up a pull list when new issues come out on Wednesdays.
Personally, I'm more interested in Funko Pop! figures, blind boxes and just in general, fandom memorabilia for my faves (The Nightmare Before Christmas, Harry Potter, Rick and Morty, DC comics mostly Batman, Joker, Harley Quinn, and The Suicide squad.) They have such a huge selection (the largest in the area) of not only Pop! figures but action figures, magnets, puzzles, t-shirts, and so much more. At the front of the store they have a HUGE selection of I don't even know how many different blind boxes. They cover everything in depth from Harry Potter to The new Justice League items to DC and Marvel to... It seems like everything! They have a large selection of video games and systems both new and used. This isn't even saying anything about their massive new and used book, DVD, CD, vinyl selections. They also buyback books, figures, etc.
The staff there is amazing! They are always cheerful and happy to help. The best thing is it seems like there is someone at the store for every geek knowledge base. I walk in there feeling like I'm welcome and I could spend literally hours talking to most about any and all fandoms. They feel like fremployees (friend/employees... Yes I just made that word up š) Anyway, I digress, I always look forward to going there and picking up my comics and I usually set aside at least an hour to do so š
In my opinion, Overall, the best store in this town! I highly suggest stopping by and at least walking through the door and trying not to find at least one thing you want! (In my case many things)...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāll start by saying the actual store itself isnāt bad. They have a wide selection of books/games/dvds etc. Some stuff is newer (or at least has normal prices) and other stuff is second hand with cheaper prices. My issue was with the selling. I came in with a small box that fit in one container. Everything was in brand new or gently used condition (cds, hardback books and even a new book set). The guy at the counter told me it wouldnāt take long at all because I had such a small box. I waited 45 minutes and finally I saw an employee and asked if my items were done (apparently they are supposed to text you but I never got the text). He sent me over to the counter where another employee told me the ābuy backā guy was at the register and then he left abruptly. So I waited some more and finally I got to finish my transaction. To my surprise my cash back was $7. For everything. I was definitely confused to say the least. Store credit was $14 and I ended up just using that on some books I had found during my hour wait. Iāve sold many things before at consignment shops and this just seemed like a total waste of time. Unless you really donāt care about your items, just save yourself the trouble and sell on Facebook...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place reminds me of a Borders bookstore in a smaller setting with many more benefits. If you arent aware of what Borders is, it's a bookstore with a coffee place, a kids play area and they had everything. DVDs, CDs, Tape cassettes, and more. 2nd and Charles transfers all that stuff into other formats. Want a CD from the 90s on a record disc? They got you. Want some fun t-shirts to bring a smile to peoples' face? How about to learn a language you never dreamed you would learn? Having issues studying for a school subject? Or maybe you just want to tickle your fancy with a new manga or fictional novel....this place is where it's at. Great prices, great people, incredible variety, and very well organized. They have something foreveryone. Please give it a shot. You are bound to leave out with something...
