Party Suppliers — Local services in Jacksonville

I wish I could leave a good review, however… my experience has been ruined for this business. I’ve used Party Suppliers for all my event needs both personally and for my business here in Jacksonville NC. I came in and purchased $140 worth of product for an event. I asked the associate at the counter for 15 helium balloons for a 3 day event that was taking place this weekend. I asked how long the helium would last… she replied “72 hours is about the longest” I said perfect that’s what I needed! She never went into detail about any types of balloons. I get to my business event this morning and the balloons have deflated, No big deal things happen, I figured I would call Party suppliers explain the situation (if it was a misunderstanding then I’d pay for them and move on) however the same employee answered and wow was I shocked with the customer service. She asked for the Associate Id in the receipt. I told her it was “101.” She said “that was me and I know I told you they only last 9 hours and that you needed to use high point helium balloons if you wanted them that long.”

Mind you I understand mis communication. However… I will never understand the acceptance of arguing with a customer. I asked for an owners phone number and was told that I didn’t need it. I was told to write a review and if the owner is concerned they will reach out. Strongly upset with my experience. Not to mention the staff as a team was very inefficient. They were all over the place and it was very clear there was no system or checklist and let alone training that was...

Been in this store a few times every now and then for my children's birthday. Everytime I go I instantly regret it. I wouldn't even look at this place if it wasn't the only party store in or around Jacksonville. The costumer service is awful. Usually no one is there to help you and when someone is there they're stocking and usually don't help. To make matters worst the employees are rude. This time I decided to make an exception and give them the benefit of the doubt since I was only calling to ask questions in regards to my daughter's mini mouse theme. Something simple... Somehow they messed that up. The employee didn't even know what a theme was... like ??? Not only that they couldn't give me a price because she was too lazy to go check herself. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY. TRUST ME THEY DON'T WANT YOUR BUSINESS.

OH YEAH NOTICE HOW THE ONLY GOOD REVIEWS ARE FROM UNKNOWN GOOGLE USERS. SUSPECT ??? MUST BE MAKING FALSE REVIEWS. ONLY IF THEY SPEND MORE TIME MAKING THEIR BUSINESS BETTER THAN MAKING FALSE REVIEWS MAYBE THEY MIGHT BE BETTER...

I would like to rate Christine, one of your outstanding employees the highest rating possible. Yesterday, I had to find a particular color (s) of plates and napkins for a 90th Birthday Celebration and Christine assisted me as I am handicapped with a hip issue. She brought me all the different colors I requested. She was patient, kind and very knowledgeable about what Party Supplies had to offer. After finding exactly the right colors, I purchased what she had helped me select, then, she walked with me to my car so that I could lean on the cart as it was a fairly long distance for an elderly person with hip issues. Christine kept a beautiful smile the entire time and kept a caring attitude the entire time. I hope she will be recognized for her outstanding customer service and her knowledge of what Jacksonville Party Supplies has to offer...
