Tsaocaa — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Saw this place setting up about 2 weeks ago before they opened. Really wanted to try them because I've never had milk tea but also wanted to try the chicken. Went yesterday and WOW oh WOW! The tea was so delicious, I got a strawberry puree with milk tea and the tapioca balls. Not much of a fan of the tapioca but the milk tea was so nice. Their selection is so vast! You order off a kiosk and I love how they ask how sweet you'd like the tea. Now the main star for me was the fried chicken. This chicken has to be some of THE BEST I've ever had in all of jville. Got a 5 piece drumsticks, with a sweet and spicy sauce covering the chicken. The sauce was that perfect spice where it doesn't punish you but you'll want more and more along with the sweetness. The breading was so crispy and crunchy and the meat under was tender and so juicy! You'll have to wait a lil extra for them to cook it but it's worthwhile. Please just go and experience this...

I have been getting tease from this company for almost 2 years and I’ve never had a problem ordering my drink how I like it. Until today! The river city location does not listen like the other locations. I only go to this company and no other. I asked for my drink to have light ice and they filled up my cup with ice before they finished my drink. I told him that I wanted light ice and she tells me that it is light ice, but the cup is full of it! I also asked for extra jam in my drink like I always do and they tell me they can’t do that when all other locations do it. If you want better service, try other locations. I’d rather drive extra than come back to this place. This is the closest location to me since I live in Georgia but I will take the hour drive just to go to the beach Boulevard where they know how to treat people. Had been coming here about every two weeks for several months now, and I noticed I started to develop reactions to dairy in the days following drinking what I was TOLD was NON-Dairy Slushes. After looking at my maps timeline and tracking my symptoms I asked again today if there was dairy in the slushes, and I was told the powder they use DOES in fact contain dairy products but tried to insist that they don’t say so because of how LITTLE is in there. When I asked for a yes or no answer, the cashier seemed to want a sale more than telling the truth and wouldn’t simply tell me that it was not possible to make them truly non-dairy and that there was a literal milk derivative on the packaging for the powder. You have lost my business because you aren’t trustworthy - cross contamination isn’t a safe practice and neither is LYING. Left today with nothing after waiting forever in line too....
