AWFUL UPDATE!! The stylist who previously did my hair was a no show (I book 3 months out and booked this early, based on her schedule. I got a confirmation text the day before - and had to prove it! and this was the 4th time she was either a no show and had to be called, rescheduled) so the Owner, MARCI did my hair. It’s absolutely horrible and when I went back in, after a long weekend, to show her my hair, she denied doing anything wrong and yelled at me!! Yes, yelled so all I could do was leave because I have major anxiety and PTSD and aphasia and I can’t handle crazy. I’m leaving the good pics from my original review so you can decide for yourself. You can clearly tell the difference. Don’t go there.. Even the stylist said she wouldn’t trust the owner. They’ll mess up your hair, deny any responsibility and yell at you when you’re most stressed. How can someone be so heartless and cruel? I am devastated. I’ve gone to 3 independent stylists and they say it looks like she left the chemicals in, basically listed many things she didn’t do correctly or not at all. 1/2 way through, she said she’s never done this process before. I wasn’t wearing my contacts (chemical fumes get trapped with contacts and you can’t wear glasses during a chemical process). After that comment, I tried to see but I really couldn’t. I went to a professional and if you cant see, you have to trust. I won’t be able to trust again. She put the straightener on my entire head, overlapping the already straightened hair for the entire time!! Also I asked for the same cut and now it’s crazy short, totally different cut, tons of breakage and my hair fallout is unbelievable!! I asked for a refund and she said “she takes care of her customers” which is simply not true. She expects me to go back to the place where she traumatized me and ruined my hair. No thanks. This was previously a 5 star review. Now, because the way she treated me, and I gave them both chances to make it right, my only alternative is to warn people. See the happiness of the 1st pic compared to the rest. The first pic was from my first straightening there with Nia. Obviously I’d rather not have to post these pics of me. You can see though just how much this is affecting me. I’m stressed out and livid!! Oh, I see a review I need to post because I’m so upset I’ve been called “crazy”. Yes, this is how they treat their customers.

Marcy has been cutting my hair for over 40 years. I guess that says it all in terms of my satisfaction! She has a keen talent for knowing what looks best for her clients and I always tell her when she asks, “You’re the artist, you cut my hair how you think it should be.” She does and I always walk out with a great haircut. I’ve sent dozens of people to her from my wife, mother, friends, students, colleagues, and more; most of them are returning customers as well. I haven't had a cut and style that I truly loved in years. I was serviced by the owner. I can't remember her name, for that I apologize. But I'm serious, for so long I was getting mediocre hair cuts.
