Bringing your only daughter to the “new” movie theater for the first time so you can see the movie she wanted so much and bumping into my 8 year old girl with such a horrible experience while waiting for her pizza, chocolates and popcorn combo to be bought. She could see and experience how dishonorable the service was to part of the food & popcorn store’s employee. To the point that my beautiful daughter asks me why they do this to us? We went where the employee calls you to attend to your order, but while you take the pizza and come back (3 seconds) this employee left the cash register to attend to another person outside of the food and popcorn store, leaving me and my daughter waiting to pay and complete our order! The same employee passed by our side several times for more than 15-20 minutes and never spoke to us or attended to us. The question of an 8-year-old girl “why do they do this to us?” because the other employees continued to serve the line and more than 3 people who were waiting after us passed by. If there had been a good service: the correct way would have been, since the used employee left the clients unattended, to serve someone else for more than 15-20 mins, it would have been to let the employee next to us know that he had to serve someone else, and that before to continue passing customers who were after us let her know that we were waiting there for someone to attend to us Instead of letting waiting there and missed part of our movie. But no, that's not even happened! You know what happened, that I had to leave so that my girl would not continue crying seeing how she was ignored and mistreated. One let of me don't even want to think that everything was just because we are Hispanic! But worse still, when I go back to talk to the supervisor since my beautiful 8-year-old girl tells me mommy is that I want the pizza, and I also needed to eat because I'm a type 1 diabetic and my sugar was getting low, so I decide to go back and talk to the "supervisor". I say what happened to him and he told me that I was the first customer who complained today about their service. THERE WAS NEVER ANY REPAIR, MUCH LESS AN APOLOGY FOR such horrible service. I want to let you know that my daughter and me appreciate for such a beautiful experience that I hope was not due to discrimination and I hope you know that I will NEVER return to your theater, because my 8 year old daughter and I deserve better...
Read moreMovie sound & picture quality was good, theater seats were clean. Concessions didn't take too long. Cons was when they put our popcorn on the counter it was slightly to the side & appeared behind us when we were paying so some teens thought it was theirs & went to grab it, but the guy had to tell them it was ours & not theirs. With Covid still going on I dont want any1 grabbing our food first. Also the arm rests in the theater seats are short in length & set so back in the seat you have to almost sit forward on the edge of the seat/practically out of it or lean over to the side too much to reach controls to adjust your seat. At AMC Regency the arm rests are longer & controls are closer to the front of the seat, more easily accessible for anyone to reach. You don't have to fiddle with feeling back by your hip in the dark to find it or being almost out of the seat to access controls, the sit back in 2 see if it is comfortable; which is what happened at this new cinemark. On top of that having teens near me tossing stuffed animals back & forth between different seating levels during the movie & having friends come in to crowd at the end for giggling & conversation during our movie after they finish at whichever one they just left from. Overall, given 4 stars for sound, screen quality & clean seats. Didn't hold the inconsiderate teens against them, but there was no one I could see around to check them from gathering at row end talking, tossing stuff, & jumping in & out of different movies. This was my first time at this theater. If I try again, it will have to be during...
Read moreBEST MOVIE THEATER IN TOWN!!
I was skeptical of a theater opening up right in the middle of the pandemic, but I am so glad that they did. The lobby is pretty much the perfect size, with a seating area, an arcade, and lots of registers for concessions. It is also one of the only theaters I've seen with Coke Freestyle machine's out for refills, which in my opinion instantly makes it a 5 star option. But not only are their concessions on point, the whole theater is the best you'll experience in town. It is extremely clean (I've never noticed trash or food anywhere before one of the dozens of showings I've seen here) and the seats are some of the most comfortable you'll sit on at a theater. And get this, the seats have built in seat warmers too!!!
Like I said, this is the best experience you'll get at any theater in town. The tickets aren't overly expensive and if you join their paid rewards program you get a free ticket a month and save usually about 30% of the price by then removing the fees. My only complaint is that there aren't a lot of screens here and the selection of movies can be a little limited if there are a lot of releases at the time (majority of smaller showings, indie movies, movie event weeks, and anime showings are at their bigger Tinseltown location instead of here). If you haven't been here yet and you're a fan of movies what are you waiting on?? Take some time and treat yourself to the best movie theater experience you'll have...
