Sushi Burrito Express — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Great spot for sushi burritos! I get a veggie roll every time, and sometimes I choose to have it rolled, cut, or even deep-fried.

The staff are super nice and always playing music. However, I notice that when a certain lady is there, the guys tend to be quieter and don’t talk much, as she seems a bit strict. This place is located inside The Avenue Mall in the food court.

The food is delicious and reasonably priced. It’s an extra $1 for deep-frying, and avocado and cream cheese cost between $0.50 and $0.75 extra, while additional sauce is just $0.25.

I asked for chicken, cucumber and onion with yum yum sauce and spicy Mayo. I can’t eat shrimp and what did I find in my burrito chicken and shrimp, but what concerns me is he pulled it all out of the same bowl which was the chick bowl to drop in the fryer. Luckily I am not someone who could potentially die from this mistake but cooking the shrimp and chicken together is very careless to do especially if someone has an allergy. I personally just don’t like shrimp. $13 wasted and they don’t answer...

I tried the kamikaze roll and it was good...only thing i did not like was the fried salmon...was under cooked. Also I got no eel sauce...so it was kinda flavorless without the soy or yum yum sauce.
