Terra Nossa Brazilian Grill The Avenues — Restaurant in Jacksonville

So sad.... we were looking forward to trying out this place. And we're very disappointed. We got 3 full meals, chicken wrapped in bacon, pork sausage, and picanha steak. All comes with white or yellow rice, beans or chicken stroganoff, plantains, Yucca, or sweet potato and another side dish, choices of chicken salad, Pico, potato salad. First, the chicken meal is dry and hard and chewy. My daughter basically just ate Yucca Fries and the stroganoff. My husband got the pork sausage. He said it's terrible, super dry as well. I got the beef meal, which is the picanha. I was very excited to try it. I'm very disappointed, super dry over cooked meat, and it's very salty. You could see the big grains of salt on the beef. Plantains are also dry. The chicken stroganoff is the tastiest out of all the food we got.

Also, one of the workers wasn't very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. He seemed annoyed that we were there and ordered. I asked him what the crispy looking bread that was displayed next to the sodas. I wanted to try it, but it didn't seem like he wanted to help me out.

We will never be coming back again. We will just stick to our usual Brazilian go-to place. They're...

I honestly hate doing this because I love trying new spots but I came by the mall today and tried this spot out of whim. The service was fast and easy to choose your food. I will have to say the food was not the tastiest. I got the grilled chicken bowl with yellow rice and black beans. It just had no flavor! Just tasted like regular steamed rice and cooked beans with the chicken and no unique flavors that would make me want to come back. I didn't even finish eating because I was expecting so much more! I did like the concept of getting sides and toppings. I ended up getting some maduros(sweet plantains), steamed veggies and some beet salad. Sad.... waited almost a year for this to open and my food was not good. I selected a pricey steak on salad base. Steak was dried out (gray) and the guy left out the salad ( had explained 3 or 4 times I wanted the salad base and he kept assuring me yes) and gave me bland yellow rice and so on. I explained to the other employee what had happened and he seemed to care but by that time I had made up my mind that the whole experience was super negative.
