This location is completely chaotic & disorganized. We stopped in to meet with them to create the groomsmen profile and pick the items we needed for our wedding. My husband went back to the Savannah location to be fitted and found out that everything that was put into the system was wrong. We easily corrected it. Soon after that, they called to say they didnât have âmatte shoesâ that we needed to pick something else. We never picked matte shoes⌠the guys wanted the gloss. Again, another easy fix but like come on, we just fixed everything. Fast forward to right before the wedding, my husband picked up his suit rental to find out he had a neck tie and they had all requested bow ties. He was the only one who received a neck tie. The wedding was in two days and they didnât have one in store so they overnight shipped the bow tie to the hotel where we were getting married. HE RECEIVED ANOTHER NECK TIEâŚâŚ At this point, like how many times can you mess up? Our ring bearer is three, was fitted and received his suit about 6 times bigger⌠in which he had to go elsewhere to get a suit in such a short time. Iâm not sure who manages this location, but this is the most unprofessional, unorganized business Iâve ever encountered. I called to express my frustration in the most polite way that they had messed up countless times, weâve been patient but now.. we had to run out on our wedding day to get a bow tie from a third party location because you simply can not follow instructions from the groomsmen you work with. I will never recommend working with this business for your wedding. Each of our groomsmen had a chaotic experience.    Read moreYesterday afternoon, made the drive in to the Town Center JoS A Bank Jacksonville Fl. looking specifically for an overcoat we saw online. I usually do this trip every Holiday season to update my husbandâs wardrobe. Last year I was waited on by a young man who seriously was so into himself it made me uncomfortable BUT he helped me with my entire purchase. This year I was helped by no one.. management feel free to check the cameras. Walked the entire store with my phone in hand searching for the coat. There were at least 4 employees two at the empty register and several towards the back. I then stood at the register where a woman employee stared down at the screen.. after several minutes she says âdo you want something?â Wanted to reply, no I just like standing here âšď¸ I showed her my phone with the picture of the coat and asked if it was in the store. She then turned to the gentleman doing nothing behind her and he glances at my phone says I think itâs over there and points to the front of the store..Mind you had he really looked at the picture he wouldâve noticed it was a full length coat. He pointed at a mid length jacket. I still walked over to it to confirm itâs not the coat. Neither of the two bothered to check. I literally stood at the front of the store in disbelief that I couldnât get anyone to give me the time of day! I needed to rent a tux for a wedding in Jacksonville. Since I don't live in Florida, I had my measurements taken in my hometown and sent to Jos A Bank. They told me several times to pick up my tux the day before the wedding so I could try it on. Each time, I told them I wouldn't arrive to Jacksonville until the morning of the wedding, and that the groom would pick up the tux for me. They seemed to understand, and everything seemed fine.
When I got to the groom's house, the shirt was too small and the pants were too wide and too long. Not a little bit too long -- they were four to five inches too long.
I called the store and was told they don't keep extra rental pants on site, and that their tailor was not available that day. They said the other Jos A Banks did have a tailor, but it was at least a half-hour drive away. Since I needed to get to the church early, this wasn't an option. I found a tailor nearby and paid out of pocket to have the pants hemmed.
Other groomsmen in our party had similar stories: too big or too small, wrong color (!), and so on.
In short: It's the height of wedding season (April) and Jos A Banks messes up MULTIPLE tux rentals and doesn't have a tailor available. They're not cheap, so they should offer better...
