I purchased a $300+ chain for my boyfriend for Christmas— the manager offered to put the custom charm I brought with me on the chain and when I asked if I could return it in the event my boyfriend didn’t care for the chain style; the answer was yes.

The manager packaged the chain and placed it in a bag w/ tissue paper so that it was ready for gifting.

Imagine my disappointment when on Christmas morning not only was the chain broken directly out of the box but my boyfriend pointed out that the bale for the charm had also been damaged.

When I took the chain back I was basically accused of having broken it myself and then told that they have a no refund policy. While I will admit that their policy is printed on the receipt and posted in the store when I asked if I could bring it back I was not clearly told at that point what the policy was. I was given a store credit.

It was embarrassing having my boyfriend open a broken gift, I have to have a jeweler repair the charm and now I’m out $320 for a broken chain unless of course I want to pick some other...

I am not usually one to submit a Google review positive or negative but in this case I felt my experience should be shared. I needed an engagement ring early in the day and showed up at their location 15 mins before opening. Sammi, let me in and showed me several rings so I could find the perfect one. I returned with the ring the following week because I selected the wrong ring size. Sammi, quickly resolved my concern and sent the correct ring to Charlotte, NC within 5 days so we could hit an important deadline. It is rare to have someone go so far above and beyond what is expected of their job and in this case, this will be remembered as one of the best buying experiences I have ever had.
