On Friday evening November 25th, my Son and I went to The Men's Wearhouse in Stuart, recommended by his sister our daughter, who had great success up in a MW getting a Tux for her husband not to long ago. As we walked towards the doors we noticed all the Black Friday sales event signs! David was in search of a new suit which could be tailored for him. When we walked through the door, a really nice woman, Christine asked if we needed any help finding something. We both looked at each other then looked at her and said, sure thing. We instantly felt a warm vibe from Christine. After we explained to her what we were looking for and hopefully were going to find something sharp for a great "Black Friday" Price point, Christine began showing us around. There were other employees in the store but they were preoccupied with other tasks. Christine began trying to determine David's coat size, after trying on a few jackets along with some measurements he began trying on more Jackets that were a better fit. Christine asked a fellow employee a question and this other lady came over and began showing David other jackets from a different area. We then located matching trousers, he selected a black suit, David went into the dressing room so he could try the suit on. During this entire time Christine was so helpful, she was kind, genuine, professional and was refreshingly attentive. She found a shirt for him to try on under the jacket and shoes to wear while the Tailor was conducting his measurements, who was quite nice and helpful as well. David and I both enjoyed our time with Christine and appreciated everything she did to accommodate us and she provided excellent customer service. She said she was new and pretty low on the totem pole for lack of a better description; we found her to be a priceless asset to that store. Once David decided on the suit and a shirt and we had the tailoring all complete he went and got dressed and he proceeded to check out. I took the liberty to inquire about todays "Black Friday" sale prices, and upon checking they said, No discounts on this suit. You can only imagine how we were a bit disappointed. When we began, our search we were in the sale price items and this other woman steered us to the non sale rack. I finally asked again, surely on this Black Friday there must be some sale price, make no mistake it is a fine suit and my son was very happy with his selection. The lady that was I guess the manager on duty, looked over at the signage of the suites we began with and said, just give them that discount amount, which we truly appreciated, this created a bit of an awkward moment but we got through it. We are now waiting for the tailoring to be complete and once he puts suit back on I might upload and add a photo to this review. I called to check on status of Tailoring and spoke to Shawna early in the day then AJ last night both friendly and helpful. Picking Up his suit today! My son plans on purchasing some other suits to be tailored in the future, I hope it will be at this location with Christine. Because of the instant care and genuine dedication Christine showed towards us as customers, another women helped Christine and my son out with the checkout at register which we appreciated, we completed this purchase all because of the 10 Gold Star Customer Service Christine showed us. Christine is a Fine Asset to The Men's Wearhouse Team. I have purchased many suits and tux's for and with our sons and my husband through the years so I am pretty familiar with this process. We have enjoyed working with many Fine Men's clothing stores all over the country. We are a Retired Military Family and My husband is a Retired Executive too, we have spent decades enjoying dressing to the occasion and exposed our kids to that same world. Our son works very hard for his money and this was a cash not credit card sale!
As for Christine She Get's 10 Gold Stars! We hope that the Men's Wearhouse of Stuart Florida recognizes Christine's Value and should hold on to her as she exemplifies...

I decided to go in to try and find the perfect tux for my groomsmen and I, Worst mistake ever. I walked in this store and first thing I notice was how unorganized and dirty this place was, no one was around to greet me.. whatever, I looked upon that and headed towards the back where I saw a gentleman standing, he says "15 minutes waiting, they must be busy " then a woman walked out from the back, does not even look at us and walks right past us towards the front of the store. Shockingly another girl walked out and tried to help. She took the man ahead of me to the front to take care of him and told me that the tuxedo manager "Amber" would help me. "The first girl we saw that walked right past us" so she came back introduced herself and I explained to her what the occasion was and what I was looking for. She directed me to this small corner where she says this are our choices. There was literary 6 mannequins with outdated dusty tuxedos so I explained to her that I wanted a blue colored tux and I wanted to rent them for my party. She brings a tux from the back that was a about 3 times bigger than my actual size and says "this is all we have oh and we can't rent it till august" so my first thought is why are you even showing me this than?. I asked her well can you get me my size so I can try it on, she responded THIS IS ALL WE HAVE ! you can put this on and see how the color looks on your skin! What!!!!! Oh and the tux does not come with shoes, shirt and tie. So it will be like renting a car without tires, brakes and horn, if you want the rest you have to pay more. She wanted me to make a decision on the tux that I'm going to wear one of the most important days of my life that doesn't even fit my body and just be satisfied with the color??? I was shocked at this point and didn't understand if this was a prank or what was going on, and she finishes it off with " WE HAVE BEEN DOING BUSINESS FOR OVER 40 YEARS AND NOONE HAS EVER COMPLAINED" I had enough and walked out of this madness, I could not believe what I just went through, this was the worst experience of my life. I will never be back there nor will I recommend this establishment and if you are reading this, I will save you the time and hassle. Worst service ever, your dreams and excited moments will...
Read moreTHIS is how to shop. 5 stars
TLDR: I don’t know if there are more guys out there like me, but I hate shopping, especially for clothes. Men’s Wearhouse always makes it quick and easy, and yeah, I always love the way I look.
My wife and I recently went to the Jensen Beach location to buy a couple of pairs of shoes, some jeans, and a new blue suit because I put on a few pounds. You’d think the shoes at a boutique men’s shop would be much pricier, because unlike the department stores, these are real leather shoes from old and respected companies. Nope. They’re right around the same price as the plastic garbage you’d get at the mall. Trust me, even if you only need shoes, check out Men’s Wearhouse before you buy.
We were helped by store manager Shawna. She knew exactly what would look and fit best but encouraged me to try on other brands and styles before taking me where I needed to go. In a very short time, I had settled on a particular suit. It wasn’t perfect, but it was about to be.
Next, I was fitted by the in-house tailor, Richie. If you picture an old-school tailor who’s been in the business for 30 years, you’ll know him the second you see him. The tailoring prices are far less expensive than you’d imagine, and whether you’re a gym rat (old me) or a couch potato with a dad bod (new me), Ritchie will make it look like the suit was custom-made for you. A short time later we picked it up, and thanks to Ritchie’s magic, it fits perfectly.
A few weeks later we realized that we needed a black suit for a formal event, so back we went. Kevin Colman helped us this time, and it was a glorious experience. He’s one of those rare people that knows his profession inside and out and really cares about customers. It was like being back in the 80s. He was able to look up the suit I had just bought, and bing-bam-boom, we ordered a black one in the same sizes. When it comes in, I’ll swing by and have Ritchie work his magic on it.
While we were there, Kevin showed me how many points I had (you get a point for every dollar spent, which ends up being free money) and hooked me up with more discounts, including twenty bucks just for letting them text me. If you visit the Jensen Beach location, you can’t go wrong with Kevin.
I still hate shopping, but every time I leave Men’s Wearhouse, I’m...
