I’m posting this review on behalf of my very dear friend, who had a horrible experience at this Salon today. I visited color nail city salon for a a manicure and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The service I received at this salon fell short of my expectations, and I feel compelled to share my feedback.
Upon entering the salon, I was greeted with indifference by the staff, who seemed more preoccupied with their own conversations than attending to their customer. The lack of a warm welcome or acknowledgment made me feel unwelcome from the start.
During the appointment, I had brought my own Chanel polish and asked to use it, to which the nail technician said they HAVE to use their own gel Color! I was treated very disrespectfully and my business will not be given to this salon who does not Appreciate people of color! My manicure was sloppy, with uneven nail polish application and cuticles left undone.
I hope that my feedback is taken constructively and works towards improving the services, enhancing customer experience, and upholding higher standards of professionalism and quality...

I have some reason to think WOC are just not their favorite here. They’re much kinder to other ladies.
Came here for a regular pedicure with no upgrades or extras. It was $25. When she put the flip flop on me to walk me over to the drying station, she scratched up the big toe nail. She said “be more careful next time” and I just wanted to tell her it was her. There was no possible point that I scratched it up because I’m just neurotically gentle with my pedicure.
She then dumped a whole goop of nail polish. One hour later under the dryer and I still couldn’t get it to dry. Forget asking this disgruntled tech if she can do...
Read morei booked an appointment online a day before for a regular pedicure. the next day, an hour before the appointment they call and ask if i can come earlier. this worked well for me because work ended earlier than i expected and i was going to call to see if my appointment could be bumped up!
at the salon they have a great collection of nail paints. they had brands like OPI, Essie and Essie gel couture. this may be a standard but i’ve been to salons where i’ve seen no name brands and the polish chips after a day or two.
she tries to convince me to try out a spa pedicure, and after reading the menu card i give in. and it was really really nice! i got the $45 lemon spa pedicure. that included leg scrub, deep moisturizing, a 10 minute leg and feet massage, callus removal, hot stones and probably more that i’m forgetting! she did it so well!
