Unfortunately, I'm a regular to this place we always order from my job, so I ordered a pick up lunch , however I decided I wanted to sit down once I got there since I made it 5 min before food would be served , however the person working in the front I'm guessing is not familiar with " GREAT" CUSTOMER SERVICE, I asked her kindly if I can pls sit since I only have 30 min lunch she said the following , " you cannot do this u must come order here ND sit here ND wait , for ur food I said oh really I walked to get here to turn back ND walk back there goes 15 min of my lunch nd ok I said no problem she said let me see if I ask in the back she then walks to me with my lunch wrapped up nd I left horrible customer service they surely lost a customer and I will spread the word how poorly they treat customers there I will speak to a higher up she def needs to work with a zoo, no customer service at all her communication skills are horrible, I will see the owner sooner then later he is a great guy however he needs someone in that place to take care of customers way better, customers should always be treated right, nd me sitting there for 20 min wasent gonna hurt her, she def looks lazy so I'm guessing she didn't want to dirty any plates or silverware. My boyfriend and I have been eating at Efes at least twice per month for the last three years. We order literally the same thing every time. In fact, we ate here earlier this week, ordered our usual, and it was fantastic. Tonight, however, there was a new or different server. I could tell she did not understand when I ordered the chicken kebab. I therefore said, at least three times, that it is the one that is the white meat. She brought the wrong dish (after bringing us the wrong size salad with feta on it even though we asked for it on the side, as we always do), and then refused to take it back claiming that what she brought me is what I ordered. Leaving aside that I have never uttered the words of the dish she brought me, her refusal to correct her error and then blame me was disgraceful..Even worse, she included an 18% tip on the bill. In the three years we have eaten here, a tip has never been included, even when we have taken large parties here. I suspect she knew we were furious and wanted to make sure she got paid for doing a horrible job. Such disgusting behavior. Giving a full five stars despite the delivery being an hour late. That's how good the food was. Items ordered: 1) Arnavut Cigeri (fried liver) - perfect. Tasty. Not tough. 2) Falafel - obviously a lot of room for variety but we loved it better than all the other falafel we've ordered in JC and we order a LOT of falafel. It is NOT spicy which is perfect for us (picky 3YO) as one can always add spice but one can't take it away!). Tasty and moist. 3) Lamb Adana over Shepherd's Salad - wife went on and on about how good it was 4) Adana Yogurt - my go to dish anywhere I can order it and it did not disappoint. Great ratio and flavor palette 5) Baklava - again a hit across the family. Usually kiddo has a small bite and leaves the rest but this time she insisted on eating her peace all alone! The food was, as mentioned, an hour late and it had clearly been sitting around a while before pickup. We expected it to be cold and have lost it's edge and it was still amazing despite this.
