Quite possibly the worst experience I've had with a store in my life. I walked into the Gold Stone and asked questions about their service, immediately the women at the counter seemed very frustrated, I spoke calmly and proceeded to ask whether she can do the service on the ring and bracket, she grabbed the jewelry and said do you want to do it or no? As if I was questioning their integrity; I assure you I was not.
I brushed it off, came into the store to pick up the jewelry a few days later and I was greeted by the jeweler who was extremely nasty from our first interaction. Once I got the ring and bracket I began to inspect the area that he fixed and he didn't wait more then 10 seconds before saying "41" dollars. I said "no problem, I'm just looking at the jewelry, Sir" he said you are taking too much time, just give me the money. At this point I'm just frustrated by his arrogance and I say why are you speaking to me like this? He takes the jewelry and says give me money and receipt and you get the jewelry.
It was the most obnoxious encounter I've had in a long time to say the least. I would URGE you to stay away from this place. I paid the money after his wife interjected her self and said "talk to me", I paid for my jewelry walked out and pulled over to write this review. I've never had to do something like this before but I think it's important that you don't go through the same...
Read moreDO NOT GO HERE!!!! If I could give this place negative stars I would. My mother bought me a cross and chain for my birthday last year, and then had to take it back again in January because the clasp broke. Now the chain started to turn black and rust.. they told her that it was a 14K 16inch chain when she first bought it, but it turns out they sold my mother a FAKE gold chain that was actually 19 inches. When we went to the store to ask for an exchange or refund, they didn’t want to hear it and said that we are confused and must have bought the chain at Macy’s or switched the chain. Mind you, myself nor my mother do not buy any jewelry from Macy’s or any department store nor do I have another chain to switch it with, so why would we waste our time in going to this jewelry store more than once about this situation if I didn’t actually get it there? If you read other reviews, you’ll see that we are not the only ones that they have sold fake jewelry too. The Chinese couple are the most disrespectful people we have ever met, especially the husband. They insisted that we give them a receipt (obviously we wouldn’t have from almost a year ago), so we brought in our bank statement and they still yelled and insisted that they don’t sell fake jewelry or 19inch chains. This place needs to get...
Read moreI have been a loyal customer of Gold Stone Jewelry for years and frequently purchasing items and bringing in pieces for repair. But my recent experience was disappointing.
During my latest visit, I was told very rudely that “I always go to the store and don’t buy nothing” from a lady who has known me since my childhood. Her behavior was not only unprofessional but also bordered on racism. But how can I buy something when the store is lacking the specific item I’m searching for such as Puerto Rico pendants.
As a long-time customer, I expected better treatment and respect. Unfortunately, the lack of inventory and the rude conduct have turn me off. I hope this feedback brings both customer service...
