If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The owner of the place did my nails and she treated my hands like an animal..she cut me 4x.. did a horrible job. She was rushing and the place was empty on thanksgiving day. She laid the acrylic out of my nail bed an cuticle and she cut me trying to remove it from my skin. She kept saying.."Im the owner, I do this for 10yrs"..my reply was.. "I have been getting my nails done for 20yrs and no one has ever put acrylic on my skin..pass my cuticle. I kept telling her about her cutting me on my cuticles and she could care less. I literally cried at the nail salon and she saw me crying while she was filing my nails. And she didnt care. I dont come here at allbut it was the closest one to my moms home. And I will never eeever go back. Price is cheap because of the treatment you get. I will report her and the salon to the better business bureau.. she shouldnt be operating a salon if she is going to mistreat her clients to the point of crying..cutting..bleeding and etc. I hope she is reading this message. You are the worst person i have ever encountered and i hope no ever goes to your salon again. Be ware of this salon. And on top of that.. i walked out with nails looking like chiclets had been glued to my nails. And i asked for a french pink and she literally said she had no pink but had a white pale pink that went wrong with my skin color. Will attach photo. Also asked for short nails but not too short and i got super short nails and one hand is shorter then rhe other. Just horrible place and person.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI RATE THIS PLACE A 0/-āļøDisappointed!!!!!!!!!! It's been a long time since I found such a great place to do my nails, let alone find a place in Jersey City that offers such amazing service. However, I hope no one ever experiences what I experience today April 10, 2019 at this salon. After visiting the place yesterday, mentioning to the manicurist I would be in this week for my 2 week fill-in, I walked in today because I had the day off, walked in greeted everyone good morning and sat down, they acknowledged me. 10 minutes pass, my niece who was getting a manipedi comes in, one manicurist came up to me said who are you waiting for I said her, pointed to my stylist who does a wonderful job, she said ok, she has 2 people. The lady who was getting her nails done and another customer. I said ok, I will wait. 30 minutes pass and the lady asked me again are you still going to wait, I said yes. Almost 1 hour and my stylist had the NERVE to say can somebody else do your nails because IM TIRED!!!!!!!!!!! ??????????? I flipped!!!! I said you have me sitting here for 1 hour, I patiently wait for you. Do you know how long it took me find a good nail salon in JC, I come here on my day off. After an hour you tell me your tired!!!!! I waited from 10:30am to 11:30am and your ganna tell me now that you're tired. She replies Ok sit down I'll do them. I said I will never step foot here again. You just lost a frequent and loyal customer!!!!! Very upset this morning, thankfully I went back to my favorite place across the street. EXPRESS NAILS, Lisa owner. They did...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been coming here for a little over a year now. I like to see Tim for my UV gel fills and Gladys or May for my pedicures. One thing I really like though is that I can honestly sit in anyoneās chair and know my nails will come out great! It took a long time for me to find a nail salon in JC that I trust, so I am definitely a customer that will be staying.
My only feedback is from a guest experience standpoint. As a stylist in the industry 26 years, perceived value is so important, ESPECIALLY in the beauty industry. With the costs of things going up all the time, we have to raise our prices, thatās normal. But something to consider, raising prices without raising value is a disservice to customers, and statistically the number one reason clients look for new shops. I get really disappointed that just about every time I come in and choose a color, itās old, clumpy and has to be thrown out. There are never new color options, which is frustrating because manufacturers come out with seasonal colors and trends all the time! Some fun music, offering water, cell phone stands at stations for customers and maybe a little face lift on aesthetics could really increase sales, new client demand, return client retention and provide an overall elevated guest experience that reflects increased menu pricing. Little changes can really go a long way when making the decision on where to go for nails when there are so many options on one block!
But if you could at least get new gel polish colors in for guests, that would be amazing and really highly appreciated....
