Don’t wish, just Do! I've been working out with Jane Do for over 2 years. After each class I feel stronger and more empowered. For me, Jane Do is more than a place to work out. It’s a place of empowerment. The staff makes a point to learn your name and you truly become a part of a community. The high quality trainers encourage you to push beyond your limits through a variety of classes and Jane Do delivers every time. For those seeking a high impact class, I recommend my favorite classes - Dance Your A$$ Off, Train Jane and Tramp Stamp (on the trampoline). These classes are guaranteed to get your heart pumping and your body and booty shaking. Dance is so much fun with all the choreography, but do not be dismayed, you do not need any prior dance experience. Train Jane is a mix of cardio and interval strength training. And, Tramp Stamp mixes a variety of cardio and strength training on and off the trampoline. For those seeking a low impact class or are just easing into a workout routine, I recommend Floor Play which is a mix of low impact, but high intensity micro movements. You are guaranteed to get a total body workout in every class. If you don't have to make it to the studio one day you can also find Jane Do on the neou fitness app or Youtube.
I love the fact that Jane Do offers challenges throughout the year. The owners Jacey and Danielle find fun and creative ways to encourage us to come back for more and stay fit. Previous challenges have included "21 classes in 31 days", "JANEuary Challenge" and "Bingo". With each challenge completed, you earn a percentage off on your next class package and/or a free t-shirt or some other surprise goody.
Lastly, they have very impressive selection of Jane Do apparel. Their workout clothes are excellent quality and if you blink you will surely miss the latest designs!
So if you're ready for a change and up for a challenge, I highly recommend Jane Do. The trainers are phenomenal and the camaraderie among fellow Jane Do clients is the best! I...
Read moreJane DO is the best work out studio I have ever tried for three reasons: They care about your personal work out goals. Each class they explain that you have to listen to your body. If you can push your self, push, but if it hurts, modify. Their motto is to push two reps more than you think you can and that you are stronger than your brain says you are. This motivation creates the ability to really achieve your goals, at your level, at your time.
All of the instructions are friendly and see you as FAMILY. You are not just a member or a number. But rather you are part of the Jane Do family. This means that we are all in it to be better versions of our selves. The togetherness creates friendships that don’t naturally form at box gyms.
The variety of classes allows you to pick your poison and the time that best works for you. Train Jane, Tramp Stamp, Dance your A$$ off, and Step are offered at different times and different days. They have morning classes that allow you to get to work on time and evening classes for after work. Weekend and mid-day classes allow for maximum flexibility with your schedule. And they NEVER cancel a class so you can always count on getting a work out in. Each type of class accomplishes different goals. Some more strength. Some more cardio. Some more toning. But all of them are a full body work out, allowing you to maximize your time and achieve your...
Read moreWhat sets JaneDO apart from any other "barre studio" or "boutique gym" are the men and women who teach there. Each and every instructor is down to earth, encouraging, and real. They are there to hear about your crappy day, keep you on releve for 8 seconds longer than you think you can, all while making sure your butt looks real good. It truly is a personable environment that keeps clients coming back.
The things I could say about the Jersey City and Edgewater studios would never do it justice. The studios are absolutely everything you need to get fit and stay fit. No matter which class you take, they are guaranteed to have you walking out of there feeling accomplished and feeling good. Each class is innovative and challenging; You could literally take the same class at the same time on the same day and it would be a totally different, equally rewarding workout every time.
All I can say is this: Drop by and take one class. It will be the best thing you do for...
