P & K Fruit Market — Local services in Jersey City

I stopped shopping at this grocery store since I read that they complained about the closure of Barrow Street. They pretend the closure of the street is affecting their business. What a non sense. Closing this street was an absolute necessity. Now Newark av pedestrian mall is striving. This is selfish behavior. By requesting the reopening of the street (the store is not even on that street) it means they don't care for their customers. They don't care of public interests and quality of life they only focus on old fashioned car only urban development. If their business is failing it is not because of the street closure, it is because whole foods opened and mostly because of nearby store Oliva has more choices and way cheaper price. Amazing Fruits! I live in Palisades Park, NJ, and recently visited some friends in this area. While I was there, I stopped by this market and tried the fruits—OMG, I’ve never had fruit this delicious before! I tried blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, and pineapple. Every single one was incredibly fresh and flavorful, so I ended up buying more to take home for my family. My entire family loved them and immediately asked me to get more. I've had it on my mind to write a review for this place for a while. I've been coming here off and on for the 14 years I've lived in JC. The Kimchi is the best I've ever had; Its a secret homemade flavor you can't get anywhere else and its made in house. They also forgave me for breaking some eggs all over the floor one day and replaced all the broken ones.
