Meg and Eden were one of the first vendors I hired for my November 2024 wedding and working with them was one of the best decisions I made. While there are many talented MUAs in NJ, I found it difficult to find someone that vibed with my personal style. As a born and bred Jersey girl, I appreciate and respect a full glam beat but I knew that it was not what I wanted for my wedding day. I wanted the “your face but better, no makeup makeup” look. When I found Sainte Lux’s page, I immediately noticed that all of their brides looked stunning but also looked like themselves. Regardless of the bride or their style, their individual features were elevated and their natural beauty was accentuated, which is what I wanted for my own look.

Then I spoke to Eden on the phone and knew that I found my hair and makeup artists. If I can give future brides advice, your HMUA are going to be a significant part of your day. Given how quickly the day moves and all of the moving pieces, you are going to spend more one on one time with them than almost anyone. Make sure you vibe with them on a personal level as much as you do with their style. Eden and Meg are quite frankly, literal angels. From my consultation, to my trial, to the day of, I enjoyed being in their company as much as I did seeing their incredible talent.

Getting my makeup and hair done with my mom, sister in laws, and mother in law on morning of my wedding is one of my favorite memories and it’s entirely because of Meg and Eden. They made the morning so calm and wonderful and made everyone look stunning. The compliment we all kept getting was that we looked incredible but did not look like we had a ton of makeup on. My mother, despite being a gorgeous lady, is the queen of self deprecation. She almost didn’t get her makeup done because she didn’t want someone to “put a ton of makeup on this old wrinkly face.” Not only did Eden and Meg make my mom feel so comfortable, when Eden handed her the mirror to see herself, my mom smiled and said “omg I look beautiful.” I have NEVER in my life heard my mom call herself beautiful. It was the first of many times I teared up that day and I will forever be grateful to Eden for making that happen.

These two are supremely talented at their craft, very professional and organized, and two of the loveliest people I have ever met. When and if I ever need my makeup and hair professionally done, they will be my first choice...

I’m so glad I found Sainte Lüx for my wedding hair and make up. Eden was a joy to work with. I only needed hair and make up for myself, my sister and my SIL, so Eden was able to do all three of us on my wedding day. Before the wedding, I had an initial inquiry call with Eden. After booking, I got to create a Pinterest board of my inspo. She reviewed the Pinterest board with me at my hair and make up trial and I really appreciated her attention to detail in reviewing my inspo pics. She helped pick out exactly what I liked about the pics and we went from there! I love how she’s on par with current trends and also classic styles. Closer to the wedding date, Meg called me to establish a timeline. Eden stuck exactly to the timeline, we were all super impressed (I think we have all been to many weddings where the hair and make up goes over by an hour and everything is late haha). Eden made me feel like the most beautiful bride. She was also super comfortable and enjoyable to be around all day and brought a nice calming energy. I am a die hard Eden fan and will follow her anywhere she goes! I have challenging hair (curly, frizzy and textured,e and while I have a ton of hair my hair is also very fine, so products that reduce frizz are too heavy) and Eden is incredible at understanding how to work with it. She also communicates really well to understand what my goals are and how I like to wear my hair, so her cuts take into consideration the different ways that I tend to style it. And best of all, she is just an all around FABulous person, so taking the time to see her feels like I am visiting with an old friend.
