I’m deeply disappointed by the racism and terrible service I experienced at your restaurant today. I came in excited to try the food, but from the moment I entered, I was met with unwelcoming stares. No staff member approached to seat me or take my order—I had to grab a menu myself just to place it.
After ordering, I clarified twice that I was dining in, and the employee at the front simply said, "Okay." Yet, I was never given a table, utensils, or water.
About 10 minutes later, a group of Asian customers walked in, and they were immediately seated, served water, and given full place settings. When I politely asked for water, the waiter snapped, "No, that’s for dine-in customers." This was baffling—I had already confirmed I was dining in and even moved toward a table.
Then, I was told my order was "takeout only" and couldn’t be eaten inside—despite the restaurant being nearly empty (only one table occupied). This made no sense, especially since I ordered items not part of any combo.
It was extremely hot outside, and as a paying customer, I expected better treatment. Instead, I was forced to either leave or sit outside in the heat. The clear difference in how I was treated compared to other customers was unacceptable.
This experience left me feeling disrespected and discriminated against. I hope you address this issue so no one else has to go through...
Read moreI put "Dine in" only because that is what we intended to do. We were in NJ to celebrate my mothers 70th bday and staying across the street at Holiday Inn - We walked passed Chengdu and wanted to eat there one day for lunch. Went in and immediately was not greeted happily but just a come this way. we were given menus and as most restaurants do, they ask what we want to drink, i asked if they had tea and the waitress quickly said NO in a rude manner, so i got a water. then i looked at the menu and there was a bunch of tea options. so then she wastes no time and asks what we want to order, i ask her for a won ton soup and she gives me the ugliest, most rudest stare and was said WHATTTT, i repeated and let it go, then we asked for chow mein, and she rudely says no no no chow mein we dont have chow mein only lo mein. and then turns to a co worker and starts speaking in her language which only gives us the assumption she was talking about us and we just got up paid for the soda already ordered and left. RUDEST PEOPLE EVER!!!! only put 1 star because i couldnt post...
Read more0 Stars if I could. Dined in for lunch today, and was enjoying my noodles until I found not one but two strands of long black hair in my food! I was already halfway through my meal, and was disgusted. I brought up my plate to the counter, and requested a replacement for my noodles. I didn't even ask for my money back at the beginning. The lady took my plate to the back, scolded the chef, and handed the plate to the chef. Next, the chef goes through my half eaten noodles with his bare hands, and calls the original lady back. The lady then proceeds to bring the dish back to me, expecting me to be satisfied that they removed the hair. I don't think so. I argued with the lady for a few minutes about getting my money back but they refused, saying I had already eaten half of my noodles so they can't remake it or refund my money. It's not that much money, but on principle. I expected them to remake the food, but if they wouldn't, at least give me my money back. I will not be...
