No secruity was present , so me having nothing to hide FOUND SOMEONE THAT WORKED THERE TO SEARCH ME as other people were just walking in but I had a big so I wanted everyone to feel comfortable with my presence, lady comes I tell her I have a little bit of weed ( like having a cigarette, she had no issue at first she said no smoking inside ( obviously ) then she found a little bottle of liquor, no problem we got rid of it , now all of a sudden my little bit of weed was an issue , again she definitely didn’t want me in there for whatever reason , not saying the establishment meant is the problem iv had great nights in there but the Irish lady with the black hair after putting the pieces together she definitely profiled me. This was my second visit. The first was better. But this place is way overpriced. Enough with the $20 cocktails . They weren't that good. The service was even worse. Scantily dressed for Halloween,fine they wanna make tips, I'm not prude but was surprised these were allowed to be worn. It was basically underwear. That's not the issue, I just thinks it's unprofessional and could lead to problems. The issue was I could tell the staff didn't want to be bothered by us. It was pretty empty around 8pm on Sat. Maybe they thought we wouldn't spend much or the way we looked, and I asked for one drink to share with my gf. We were on our way to Manhattan for dinner reservations, anyway we were given 2 drinks. Just by their attitudes,I didn't even want to say anything about the incorrect order. I know an eye roll would be heard around the world. Visited Under The Boot for the first time on Friday night for some drinks. The space is really beautiful and the music was on point. My wife and I sat at the bar and ordered a couple of beers. The menu listed these beers as $8 each. The bar tender told me (yes told me - no check was given) that it was $21.67. I asked if gratuity was included and he said "yes". I really don't like when gratuity is auto included and especially when the customer is not told that it is auto included. I find it just classless. Especially on a party of two sitting at the bar. I also shouldn't have to ask if gratuity is included. I typically tip $2 a drink anyways but but hate feeling like I'm required to tip - or even worse, a tip is snuck on my check.
