Noellery — Local services in Jersey City

This has been this the best customer service I have ever received. During the holiday season, I’m so used to the hustle and bustle of customer service values. I was greeted with many smiles and hellos, offers to assist… I observed them doing the same for every customer. I saw so much patience. Not to mention , the jewelry in this store feels like reading your favorite storybooks, or reminders of joy and love. It’s a happy place, with a warm atmosphere. I was just shopping for Christmas gifts for some friends, and wished I could get myself something too.. but.. budgets lol. As I was checking out my items, the young woman at the register lovely wrapped my gifts in brown paper bags and ribbons, thoughtfully as she was just just engaged in a genuinely friendly conversation with a smile. It was one of those moments where life felt, easy and peaceful. Nostalgic. Anyhoo lol… I brought one of my best friends a gold bracelet written out in Typewriter font … HAPPY. I thought it was just perfect, because that’s exactly how I feel when we are together. The kind lady at the register then blew me away with the HIDDEN FACTS … “did you know these were 30% off?” ….. my eyes flung to hers 😂😂😂😂😂😂 “ WHATT!!!” Lolol … I know this is a lot but this is how much I appreciated my experience there!! So anyhoo lol, she goes “you have to treat yourself to something!”. Honestly? I’ve been wanting to for a while. I thought perfect, I will! I went and looked around .. not sure what to get.. and then I remembered the silver bracelet written in Typewriter uniform .. “HAPPY”. You call it a sale? … I call it fate .

I must share that Noellery in Jersey City is my favorite fun jewelry and accessory store! I got hooked as soon as I moved to Jersey City almost two years ago. You could spend hours in here looking at all of the beautiful bracelets, rings, scarves, earrings, candles... you name it! What stands out about Noellery is how unique their pieces are and I get endless compliments on them. Be careful! It becomes an addiction.. dangerous place. ;). On top of all of this, it is the most friendly, warm boutique to shop and browse in. Noelle also has a wonderful shop in Hoboken. What makes it most fabulous is the lovely, talented women who you instantly feel like you are friends whom you have known for years. Noelle is the owner of the shops and Fang Fang is amazing. I don’t have enough words to describe how wonderful she is and how much she does for me. Not only do they both help pick the best pieces suited for myself or whomever I need a gift for, they are so creative. Fang Fang has helped me create pieces combining some of my own things with their jewelry and she has so much patience and never complains about repairing anything for me even if from a different store. It’s super convenient and right across the street from the Grove Street Path Station. A must do when you are in Jersey City!! ...

Cutely decorated store, but if you're shopping for jewelry you want to wear multiple times or has any sort of quality, this place isn't it.

I saw a few higher priced items that were gold or silver plated which would work for my sensitive ears since I am allergic to nickel. My husband warned me against purchasing at a store that has a "No Returns Policy," but I didn't take heed. I figured if the earrings were gold plated, I'd be fine and I would have no need to return them. Nope. Wrong. I wore them for less than a week, and pieces of the earrings completely fell apart.

It was a far drive, but I came back to the store for a full refund. The cashier was very apologetic and sweet, but told me she couldn't do anything. I asked for the owner. He told me he could not give me a refund, only a store credit. I refused the store credit and wanted a full refund as they sold me a faulty item that fell apart in days, and I wouldn't want to waste my time or money there again. He refused. So I had to inform him that I would be charging it back on my card. He finally relented.

A store that has a "No Refunds" policy is a store that doesn't stand behind it's product or service....
